Jin Se Yeon is a 21-year-old who lives in North Korea. She was abandoned at the 38th parallel line bridge when she was just a baby by her South Korean parents. Full of revenge, when Se Yeon turns 14, she gets trained to become a spy under the North Korean government. For seven years, she is burned with revenge. She becomes the best spy in North Korea at age 21. Because she becomes the best spy, she finally gets a chance to go to South Korea. In South Korea, she tries to find her parents and kill them. But when she finds out more than expected in South Korea, she is devasted.

Park Seo Joon is a 24-year-old who lives in South Korea. His father died one month before Park Seo Joon was born. His father was brutally murdered by North Koreans. Running away for four years, when Park Seo Joon turns four, his mother is brutally murdered by North Koreans. Next, the North Koreans are looking for him. For twenty years, Park Seo Joon hides in secrecy and tries to find out who killed his parents. When he turns 24, the South Korea government helps him try to find out who killed his parents. He is given a mission to find out the North Korean spy who has just flew to South Korea. If he finds out who's the spy, he can track down who killed his parents.

While Park Seo Joon tries to find out who killed his parents, he falls in love with Jin Se Yeon. Something about her personality reminds him of home---something he's never experienced in 20 years. Not knowing her identity, he falls deep in love with her. Will Park Seo Joon have to capture her or will he protect her?

JIN SE YEON

A 21-year-old who is full of revenge on her biological parents. She was discovered at the 38th parallel line by a soldier, who soon became her father (not biological). At age 14, she gets trained to become a North Korean spy. At 21, she becomes the best North Korean spy. Because she came a long way and became the best spy, she gets a chance to go to South Korea at age 21. When she arrives, she rents an apartment and continues to live there until she returns to North Korea. There, she meets her annoying neighbor, Park Seo Joon, who puts on full blast music every night. Although she can't stop, she ends up falling in love with him.
 

PARK SEO JOON

24-years-old. He finds out that his father was killed by North Koreans one month before his mom gave birth to him. Then, at age four, his mother gets killed by North Koreans right in front of his eyes. He then learns that the North Koreans are trying to find him next to kill. He then gets adopted by a family who adopts orphans. Running away from North Koreans for twenty years, he becomes trained to become a martial-arts fighter to defend himself from North Koreans. At age 24, the South Korean government helps him find out who killed his parents with one mission. The mission is to find out the North Korean spy that had just arrived in South Korea.
 

NAM JOO HYUK

20-years-old. A North Korean citizen. He met Jin Se Yeon in North Korea when he was 13. For seven years, he has been chasing for her heart. He confessed, but she says that she only sees him as a younger brother. Although she rejected him, he still chases her. He protects her, loves her, and will do anything to protect her. He tries to understand Jin Se Yeon more than anyone else.
