The blinding strobe lights swam around the stadium, swarms of fans slowly filling up all the available space. The stage was all set up; wide with staff members rushing everywhere to make sure everything was perfect before SBS Gayo Daejun officially started. The idols made their way to their seats next to the EXO boys who were already settled, but in the midst of all the chaos, Jongin’s attention was all on his girlfriend passing by in front of them. His eyes scanned through her features all defined more by the thick make-up she had on, her eyes were glistening under the lights, her hair left in a flawless wave sweeping cross her chest, and she was dressed in her Happiness costume; a white and green sweater paired with a pleated skirt which had a train in the back.

Thank god, that means they’re not performing Be Natural. Jongin thought, with an internal sigh of relief. But why would she wear a skirt that short here, now all the other male idols would just be fawning over her—and she knows I’m here— god, she’s not making this any easier to hide--

His daze and train of thought was cut off by the snapping of fingers belonging to his leader right in between his eyes.

“Yah, Jongin-ahhh.” Suho repeated for the nth time, shaking the shoulder of Jongin next to him.

Jongin momentarily closed his eyes to regain his composure and turned his attention to his hyung. “Sorry, yeah?”

“Not here, Jongin.” He silently instructed, knowing what was struggling to keep his eyes off of.

“I know, hyung.” Jongin sighed. “I’m trying.”
