CHAPTER 8

“How was your first day in school?” Yoona’s mother said while the hair of her daughter. The two are currently sitting in a couch in the maids’ room.

She turned to her side to look at her mother, then smiled timidly, “Hmmm, its quiet good”

Her mind actually was filled with thoughts. Something is bothering her, or rather someone. She can’t think properly since the incident. The worried look of a certain blonde keeps on flashing on her mind, and she can’t help but to be flustered for some unknown reason.

Her mother nodded, “By the way have you eaten already? I have some food in here”

She’s ready to stand up but halted

Yoona gently took her wrist, then shook her head. “I’m fine eomma. I’ll just eat at home, right now I need to check if Miss Jung has eaten already”

Yoona stood up, and made her way on the table to get her bag

Her mother stood also and faced her daughter, “Now that you’ve mention her, I actually find her pretty odd today”

Yoona furrowed her eyebrows, curious of why her mother said that. ‘Odd? For what reason?’ she thought.

She looked at her mother, “How do you say so?”

“She’s really gloomy when she arrived in here while ago. She didn’t even greet anyone and headed straight to her room”

Yoona can’t help but to laugh at her mother’s news.

She was immediately smacked in the shoulder by her mother. “Ouch! Eomma!” she hissed, feeling the slight pain in her shoulder

Her mother stuck out her tongue, like she was just a 3 year old kid who loves to friend.

“You deserve it. So, why did you laugh just now?”

Yoona clicked her tongue, annoyed. “It’s because you’re so funny. Miss Jessica is just like that, a grumpy old nanny. There’s nothing new wi—“

She was cut off with another smacked on the shoulder, on the same spot

“AWWWWW! Eomma!” she whined, caressing her shoulder and blowing it dramatically, wishing the pain will sooth right away

“Yeah I know. And will you please lessen your voice, someone might hear you” her mother warned

Yoona rolled her eyes, “Yeah, right”

“I need to go see Miss Jung. See you tomorrow, Bye eomma~” she kissed the cheeks of her mother and wave her hand walking away even before her mother can reply

Yoona was ready to face her nightmare. After cheering herself up a few times, she finally decided to face Miss Jessica, and eventually say her “thank you” to the latter.

She’s already in the kitchen, to grab the food that is specially cooked and prepared by the Jung’s chef.

The butler said that the grumpy woman refused to eat her dinner, so Yoona find this as a reason to meet the woman

Yoona then grab the dinner with both of her hands, to make it safe from falling knowing that she herself is very clumsy and started to dash off to the latter’s room, when suddenly a husky voice has called her attention. She already knew the familiar voice

She turned around and smiled back to girl behind her, “Oh Tiffany, long time no see” she joked

Tiffany chuckled a bit, “Yeah, I already miss you Yoona” she boldly said and step forward to where the awkward Yoona is standing

Yoona on the other hand don’t know what to say, what to do. She can’t seem to read whether Tiffany was just messing around with her, but then she decided to play along

She chuckled nervously, “ Ha-Ha-Ha, Tiffany, you don’t know how much I missed you. It’s been century since I last saw you”

Tiffany giggled at the dorkiness of the girl in front of her. She actually blushed a bit by what yoona said, but then she remembered that it was a joke. She shook her head, trying to remove her stupid thoughts. Her gaze then trailed to the dinner that Yoona is holding

“Is that for…. Jessie?” she asked
