Description

Zhang Yixing has an irresistible laugh and is popular with everyone. The grumpy businessman Wang Mondae tries to get it from him in any way possible and soon finds out about Yixing's best friend Jongdae who is blind. When Wang Mondae offers Yixing a deal in which he has to sell his laughter to make Jongdae able to see again, he takes it. But what can Yixing do to get it back? And who are the mysterious Mr.Wang and his assitant Jongin? And what will Jongdae do when he finds out that his best friend sold his smile for him? 

Foreword

 

So this is my first fanfic loosely based on the novel "Timm Thaler, or the Traded Laughter" which had a great impact on my childhood. I don't know how popular it was in other countries, but it was quite popular in Germany. And since adaptions are quite famous lately, Sherlock or Pinocchio for example (which I both love) I wanted to start my own and then this story came to my mind. If you haven't read it I would recommend you to give it a try, because I loved it. If you have already, please don't be disappointed because I will only use the basics and maybe change them a bit. I will also use the animation series as an inspiration. I hope you will enjoy my story and I won't ruin the fun of reading the actual novel. Chapter 3: Oh these idiots can't see that they are totally perfect for each other. Yixing and Jongdae are both jealous of Luhan for no reason. I hope they see sense soon.
