“Jaemi, how can you support someone you just met seconds ago even unofficially against someone you met approximately five minutes before and already bonded with?”

I choked on my own saliva and even Taehyun stopped his fight completely, first looking at me with wide eyes and then to Mino from below.

“M-Mino, how…”

Mino finally loosened his grip and Taehyun suddenly had to steady himself on the ground that he has slid down to.

Something about Taehyun’s expression made his smirk turn slowly into a serious face. He looked menacing actually. I could practically reach out for the tension lowering itself on us like fog.

“What?” His voice sounded even deeper than before.

It looked like Taehyun had to gain some courage first before the words reluctantly left his mouth. “Did you… did she… Again…”
