Jinae POV

The bell ringed at 6:30 AM and Jinae turned off  her alarm clock. It is her first day of school and Jinae didn’t want to start her 3rd year of high school. I don’t want to go, but she had to. My grandmother came to my room and said “Jinae time to go to school” “yes grandma I will be downstairs as soon as possible”. My grandmother gave me a hug while I got out of bed and said, “I love you Jinae”. I responded, “I love you too grandma”.

As I was getting ready for school and wore my uniform, I went downstairs. I saw Soo Hyun oppa.

 "oppa" Jinae said while running towards him and hug him tightly

 "Jin- Ae ca- nt breath" Soo Hyun responded

"sorry oppa. It has been a long time"

"I know that. I am so sorry, it is because of schedule" Soo Hyun said

"I know oppa, but I am upset" while sitting across him

" why now?"

"we used to be so close even though you were doing busy. Now you don’t have time for me anymore."

"come on now, a lot of people want me. China especially and you know that I have to do this. This is my dream and even though grandma is taking over the company, I still need to feed you. You don’t know what will happen you know." Soo Hyun said

"I know oppa, but I am scared"

"of what"

"Soo Hyun ah, Jinae is getting bullied at school" Grandma said

"GRANDMA" Jinae said

"What?" Soo Hyun said

"Its nothing oppa"

Soo Hyun stared at grandma saying I am talking to you later about this and grandma nodded.

"Its nothing oppa"

"sure it is" Soo Hyun said

 "oppa let it go because I am happy to live like this."

"happy, you never were happy ever since mom and dad left."

Jinae said to grandma, “Granny I am going to school now. I have to do something kay?” she nodded

"this early" Soo Hyun said

"yes oppa bye"

 "bye"

Jinae went back to her room and packed another uniform in case if the other students attack her with food or something.

She went out the door with her nerdy glasses and went to the bus stop. You may ask why Jinae wear nerdy glasses and why Jinae is acting like this. Also, why she brings extra pair of clothes this time around Jinae made a promise to herself after her parents death that she will not be the same person anymore. Jinae pretends to be poor in school and don’t want to be popular. When people really see her, they complement Jinae beauty. They did not know the real reason Jinae was acting like this. Even Jinae grandmother doesn’t understand, but her grandmother does not mind as long Jinae knows what she is doing is the right thing to do.

Soo Hyun POV

After Jinae left, he talked to grandma

"what is happening to Jinae while I was gone?" Soo Hyun asked

"It wasn’t while you were gone. It happen when she was 9th grade" grandma responded

"what do you mean?"

"I didn’t expect this, but once I saw her room. I saw that one of her uniform is ruined with egg, flour and tomato. Once, I saw her uniform torn and in the trash bin. I ignored it the first time and the 2nd, 3rd, 4th time it happen again, the maid saw this and inform it."

"why didn’t Jinae didn’t tell us about anything"

"it is because we will get worried"
