I watched as his hand fell away from mine, the familiar warmth gone. I watched as I stood in the field of gold, the field where we first met as innocent, vulnerable and gaulible children. I stood there alone. A tear slipped out of the corner of my eye. The clear , salty crystal slid down my cheek as I stood listening to the grass hoppers singing along to the song of my broken heart.
