She's friendly--very affectionate. He's shy, but tolerant. They laugh, they hug, and they hold hands. They love each other like friends.

This is what they don't tell the public.

She still gets butterflies when he laughs. Her eye-smile still makes his heart stutter. She cooks for him, and he sings her to sleep through midnight phone calls. She texts him random jokes; he buys her vanilla lattes. He whispers in her ear an I Love You, and she kisses him slowly in the dark.

They love each other. It's as simple as that.
