Where ever they search for her, they can't seem to find her, even if she was right in front of their noses. Only on very rare cases, some vampires can pick up her scent. How does she do it? How can she hide her identity, and her scent? Here's another thing, she's #1 on the Wanted list for vampires. Very few vampires had found her and tried to turn her in, but she was barely even able to escape. Oh yeah, what happens if she gets turned in? Experiments, possible or death. Erin has to try her best to stay underground, and unknown to everyone. But what will happen when she finally meets a vampire who DOESN'T want to hurt, experiment or her?

JUST SO YOU GUYS KNOW...... This is a ErinxJinyoung fic! :DD

And any words in between ** are thoughts! :DD So pretty much, the same layout as my Baro fic :)

Hey, subscibers and new readers! I am currently fixing this fanfiction, because my style of writing has changed just a little since the last time I made chapters. So, my apologies if one chapter doesn't lead into the next properly. Anyways, thank you for taking the time to read this. ^_^ And... I apologize for disappearing from the face of the Earth and not updating for ages. Eheheh.. ^_^;;;;;

Foreword

I paced around in the small living room of my apartment. I was completely worried sick! Some vampires had found out where I lived! I decided that this was it. I was leaving. I stuffed some clothes and a few other things that I might have found useful for the future. I pulled on my favorite hoodie, wore a hat, wrapped a black scarf around my neck and took my phone. I was leaving this place! I shut the door and left the only place that I could ever call a sanctuary: my own home.  As soon as I turned the corner of the hall, I bumped into a broad, muscular chest.   I looked up to see a vampire smirking and flashing his pearly whites at me.

“Why hello there…”

I froze immediately at the sound of his cold, velvety sounding voice.  “...Hello.

I bowed politely and in acknowledgement before continuing to walk away at a quickened pace.

*That was really close!*  That day, I had been wearing a large, wide scarf that was able to cover up half of my face.  I had been lucky that I wasn’t noticed.  I walked around the corner, down the back stairs and down the street. Suddenly, I felt a drop of water hit my face that was followed by the loud booming sound of of thunder.  I inwardly sighed and sarcastically thought to myself,

*Great…*

The rain drops became bigger and fell to the ground at a faster pace, making the visibility of the streets foggier. I ran around for a few minutes and found a nearby coffee shop which looked more welcoming with a warm and cozy look to it from both the inside and the out. I was drenched and shivering lots due to the cold weather!  Fortunately, there didn’t seem to be a lot of other people inside of the coffee shop, except for the cashier and a few others who whispered amongst each other. The cashier eyed me skeptically for a few seconds before tending to me.

“May I help you?”

I ordered a hot mocha, and gave him the money. You might want to know what ‘’ in front of any drink means these days… It means non-alcoholic, and without any blood added into it. He went to making the mocha, went back to the counter and asked,

“You look awfully pale for a vampire… Are you okay? I can make the mocha non- for you to build up your strength.” He continued to eye me suspiciously.

I struggled to keep a smooth voice,

Yeah, I’m fine. I like the mocha as it is. Thank you.”  He handed me my drink. I muttered a quiet thank you and went to an empty table. I had to stop myself from sighing in relief.  I was still surrounded by some vampires and my identity couldn’t be known.... But how did the others not notice my human scent?  Simple.  By using specific cover-up chemicals that assassins used so that the police couldn’t track them down.

*That one was even closer than before, but I can’t relax now! There are vampires around me!*

I slowly sipped at my mocha and lost myself in my own thoughts.  My mind began to wander about where I was going to stay and how I was going to survive in a place ruled by vampires.  I quickly finished my sweet coffee drink and stood up. I didn’t want to stay too long and be found.  Thus, I left the warmth of the coffee shop and returned to the storm.  I felt myself becoming sick in the rain.  My nose was frozen cold and I could feel it start to run and become congested.  I couldn’t walk any further than the distance that I had already gotten to. I found myself halfway into a slightly dry and empty alleyway, and I collapsed against a wall.  That was when I froze once I heard some voices talking to each other nearby my location.

“I-I… I smell a human… Could it be…?”

I held my breath and stood up, silently hoping that I would go unnoticed by them.  I turned away, only to bump into someone’s chest.

“We meet again… Hello, young human. I’ve been looking for you for many years. I didn’t realize that you were the last human. When I checked your home, you were gone!” The vampire smirked.

I gasped, it was the guy who I bumped into when I was leaving my apartment! I panicked as he grabbed my arm and started lifting my shirt.

“L-Leave me alone! Please!” I kicked him in the crotch, making him double over in surprise as I sprinted for my life. Lightning crackled some more in the sky and tears ran down my cheeks.  I was tired of being so frightened.  I didn’t want to keep running away for the rest of my life!

Chapter 50: I love this fic! I wish you could continue it

Chapter 50: Yes, I think all of us have felt that way one time or another about our old writing. If you need reassurance of your awesomeness, I haven't found another story with a plot like yours in eight months of painstaking fic reading. Your fans will always be here for you!

If you want some completely unnecessary advice, can you put thoughts in italics and not asterisks? It just seems easier to look at for me.
