Darkness.That was all I could see. Pitch-black darkness.As I wandered around,I found myself wishing for light.I couldn't even see past my nose! Just as I wished for it, my palm lit up in a faint glow. Slowly, I opened my palm and I was almost blinded by the bright light that was emitted from it.

"I see you've discovered your first power." A voice from behind suddenly spoke. I yelped in surprise and stretched out my hand towards him. My mouth dropped open when a ray of light shot out of my palm. What. The. Hell. Was that? 

The boy whom I assumed was the one who spoke just now spoke yet again,"Woah! Chill. I'm not going to hurt you." "Sorry. I didn't know that would happen," I answered. I willed my palm to light up again and I soon got a clear view of the youth's face.

"I'm Lee Soo Man and from now onwards, I'm going to train you in your dreams to control your powers. You may be surprised that a five year old like you has a great responsibility but just trust me and believe me on this ok, Claire?" And believe it or not, I did.
