Chasing Cars

Description

Chasing Cars

We'll do it all
Everything
On our own

We don't need
Anything
Or anyone

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

I don't quite know
How to say
How I feel

Those three words
Are said too much
They're not enough

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that's bursting into life

Let's waste time
Chasing cars
Around our heads

I need your grace
To remind me
To find my own

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that's bursting into life

All that I am
All that I ever was
Is here in your perfect eyes, they're all I can see

I don't know where
Confused about how as well
Just know that these things will never change for us at all

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Foreword

Everything around me was pitch black. The moment I opened my eyes I was sure that something was wrong. My first thought was that I had gone blind, but this idea was swooped away the first time he opened the door. A bright light had hit my face, I needed to cover it to make sure my eyes wouldn't start burning even worse than they did already.
After a while I started to get used to the sudden light bursts and the disappearing of it. He would drop something infornt of my door, a plate. He would place a little candle on the plate filled with food, it would light for exactly 30 seconds. At first I wasn't sure if I should get over there, scream at the man, scold him or just plainly smack him the face. But in some strange way I didn't feel angry with him. Who knows maybe he was forced to do it. After a week I noticed the little notes, 30 seconds, just 30 seconds to read them.
The first one I was ever able to read was at the 11th day, it said:

We'll do it all
Everything
On our own

The days passed by slowly, and my ability to see without seeing developed. I was able to feel the things around me. I could sense were they were without looking at them, I felt it on my skin, slowly creeping trough it into my veins and bones, until I could make a picture out of it. That is also how I discovered how the room looks like. There was a table in the middle, I had found that out pretty soon, for one reason or another it was easier for me to feel/see things that were heavy before I noticed the lighter ones. That again was one of the reasons that I found the blankets left for me late. The only thing that seemed odd were that the notes stopped, the notes had continued to be the same until the 15th. They disappeared. They weren’t there anymore.

So I'm not sure how this will go xD

It will work out hopefully \o/ I love that song so much but I don't know what to do with it in my story xD We will find out!

Either way thanks for looking at my story :3
