“Here. Sign it.” Sohee slid the yellow envelope across the table.

Drifting his eyes away from the computer’s screen and raise his eyebrow at his wife, “What is it?”

“Divorce paper.” She answered.

Jiyong smiles at her naïve-ness, “Why? We’ve been married for only a few months, my sweetheart.”

Sohee clench her fists in anger. “Few months of being your wife is like suffering a thousand years in hell.”

Jiyong once again smiles at her remark.

He got off of his chair and make his way toward his wife.

Sohee glared at him.

He her beautiful, long black hair and touches her gorgeous face. “My sweetheart, you should already know that I would never sign that ridiculous divorce paper as long as your father’s company continue to bring in revenue for my corporation. And beside.. why would  I give up ownership rights over such a stunning property such as yourself?”

Sohee angrily slaps his hand away from her face. “Don’t touch me with that filthy hand of yours.”

Jiyong chuckles. He bend over the table and reach for the divorce papers.

“Just so you know, my dear. As long as I don’t sign this paper, you, your father’s company, and everything that belongs to you are my properties.” He smile and rip the papers into pieces in front of his wife.

“I hope we never have to go through this topic again, my lovely wife. Now, may I excuse myself, I still have some work to finish up.” Jiyong make his way back into his seat.

“Why can’t you let me go? Why do you have to imprison me? Why does it have to be me..? Sohee turns to look at her husband with tears swelling in her eyes.

“Blame it on our fate.” Her husband coldly answered.

Sohee let out a slight laugh.

“Fate? So are you saying that it’s my fate to marry a man who is deeply in love with his own step-mom?”

Jiyong look up at his wife with a shocked expression.

“You couldn’t possibly  think that I didn’t know…about your little affair with your step-mom?” She smirked.

 “Enough Ahn Sohee…!” Jiyong slammed the table loudly.

“I see..can’t even talk badly about her…” She inhales heavily and exit his office in a rush to prevent him from seeing her tears.
