LISTEN TO 0330 BY UKISS WHILE READING THIS

 

I put on my uniform and fixed my hair, spray some perfume and got out of the house

 

mom: yah. jungsu where on earth are you going?

me: school mom, duh!

mom: you look like going on a ball or something

me: aish! anii eomma~

mom: ARE YOU COURTING SOMEONE THAT'S WHY YOU FIXED YOURSELF LIKE THAT?

me: A-ANIOO! *grabs my bag* BYE MOM!

 

I slammed the door and quickly walked on her street

I saw her going out of her house

"yes!" I said to myself, I smiled and I saw her looking at me

but she turned around and walked

 

I was at her back because I'm too shy to introduce or even talk to her 

but she always turn around or busy with her lucky ipod ( yeah, lucky because that freakin ipod is with her 24/7)

but I'm still happy that we come to school together after a week 

 

We entered the school and when she entered the school gate 

she dropped her notebook

 

"hey.." I called her, I felt nervous

 

she turned and saw me holding her notebook

she move closer and I handed her notebook

 

"thanks.." she smiled and walk away

 

I was dumbfounded, until I realized that I forgot to introduce myself

I facepalmed myself

 

"hey! you're jungsu right?"

 I look up and I saw her standing while waving her notebook

"ah. ne! how did you know my name?" I walk towards her

"ofcourse I know you you're one of my classmates.. Hi, I'm tina" she chuckled

I felt my heart's gonna pop in any minute

 

Since that day, I made friends with her.. In fact she's now my bestfriend

it's been 3 years and we're now seniors

I still have feelings for her, it didn't disappear but it grew more and more everyday

when I'm with her.

 

"okay, the JS PROM will be next month and you know it" 

My class adviser reminded us

 

we all nodded, I secretly look at her 

she's talking to tiffany, her seatmate

I blush when she caught me looking at her, she just smiled and waved at me

I waved back and turned back, I smiled to myself

 

I wish I could confess to her but I dont know when or how

 

A week before the JS PROM

 

tina didn't show up in class, I wonder why maybe she's just lazy 

but I can feel something is not right

 

I called her but she won't pick up

 

"maybe she's busy or what"

I said to myself

 

A day before the JS PROM

 

I decided to go to her house because she missed out too many lessons

and I wanted ask her to be my partner in the prom

 

*ding dong*

her mom: hey,jungsu! *smiles*

me: is tina here?

her mom: *suddenly frowned* please dont be surprised..

me: why? what happened to her?

her mom: she's in the hospital

 

my eyes widened and rushed to the hospital

I asked for her room and the nurse assisted me on my way

 

when I reached her room, I saw her lying weak on the bed

 

"jungsu.." she smiled at me weakly

I ran to her and held her hand

"what happened to you.... I didn't know you have cancer"

I started to cry

"please dont cry...  everything will be okay"

she tried to calm me down

"no.. this is not okay"

I intertwined my hand on her hand

 

"maybe God has bigger plans than I have for myself" 

she said and I cried more

".. hey, tomorrow's the prom right?"

she held my chin and I looked at her

I nodded and she smiled

 

"can you be my prom date?" 

she asked, I chuckled and she smiled

"a girl asked me, wow" 

I smiled and lay beside her

our forehead touch and we looked at each other

 

"tina..."

"hmm?"

"nothing, you still look like a monkey"

"mean oppa!"

 

we laughed 

 

after an hour, I left her because I need to prepare for tomorrow

aish! pabo jungsu! why can't you confess?!

 

The day of JS PROM

 

I decided to not to attend the party but I directly go to the hospital

I'm wearing a black suit and I have a sunflower on my hand

 

i knocked on the door and I entered

she's with her family, my heart started to feel something but I ignored it

 

"mom. dad. geo, can you leave us alone for a moment?"

she said to them and they all go out and his father patted my shoulder

 

"hey..." she smiled and I lay beside her

"I have something important to tell to you.." 

I gulped and she gave me an innocent look

 

"I.."

 

"you??"

 

" I love you!" 

I closed my eyes and gave her the sunflower

I opened my right eye and she was smiling

 

"at last, for 3 years waiting for you to confess"

she said and my eyes widened

"you--you knew?"

I asked her and she nodded

 

" I had a crush on you too"

she said and she started to explain why she doesnt 

talk to me, she was just shy

she thought that she will never be enough for me

but she found out I like her when tiffany told her.

 

aish that tiffany, but it helped... I guess.

 

"why sunflower?"

she said and I hugged her

"because it means good luck and it represents your bright and ambitious personality"

I rested my forehead on her

she blushed for the first time

I closed my eyes kiss her

 

"I love you, tina"

"I love you too, jungsu.."

 

I hugged her and she started to breathe hard

I called the nurses and doctor  including her family 

they were all panicking

 

but she gave up..

I kneeled and held her hand

 

"please wake up! please"

I cried 

 

5 years passed

 

I became an architect

I build a garden full of sunflowers

 

"what a beautiful garden"

I said to myself

 

"yeah.. pretty" 

someone said, I turned around and I saw a girl sitting on the bench

inside the green house

 

"excuse me, but who are you?"

 

she stand up and she extend her right hand

"Hi, I'm Kim tina.. sorry If I came here without any permission"

my eyes widened, she looked like tina and they have the same name

"wait.." I held her hand and I saw her back

there were bruises

 

 

 

".... what happened to you back?"

I asked

 

 

 

"jungsu.. I came back for you"

she smiled and I saw feathers on the ground

I hugged her and she hugged me back

 

"now we can continue our unfinished story"

I said and she kissed my forehead

 

"I love you jungsu"

"I love you too."
