chapter 4
SakuraI woke up the next morning in absoloute comfort.
I couldn't remember what happened as clearly as
I wanted to.
'Park Sora, you are my wife.'
'It's not a yes or no question.'
'Helping the family...'
I winced and face planted into the unfamiliar
pillow. Wait a minute.
I fully opened my eyes, observing my
surroundings. "No." I mumbled to myself. I was
in a bed made of silk sheets. The room was
rather victorian or more, baroque looking. I was
wearing a giant shirt with light pink socks when I
got out of the bed. Mentally I was freaking out.
"Have...to find a way out.." I mumbled to myself,
opening a door on the light pink wall in the
room.
It was a bathroom.
I sighed and tried the other door.
Bingo.
I shivered at the coldness in the corridor as I
walked down it. This place was so empty it was
almost depressing. I was at the top of the grand
staircase when I had heard a familiar voice.
" Sora." I winced, turning around to see Sehun. "I
have a question fo-" "No time for that!" Sehun
had interupted me. I slightly frowned, yawning
while feeling myself being guided down another
corridor. After several minutes or so, we entered
a room full of antiques. "Stay here." Sehun had
ordered. I gently scoffed but did as I was told.
I looked around the room at the european looking
sitting chairs and tea table. The chandelier was
too bright, causing me to squint and eventually
cover my eyes. Sehun had returned shortly
afterwards with a silver box that had a ruby on it.
"My birthstone." I mumbled. "Mhm." He slightly
nodded, opening the box and taking out a
necklace with a ring on it. "This belongs to you."
Sehun had said, trying to sound nice even though
his effort was failing. I forced myself to smile.
Mother would have approved.
"I'll put it on for you." Sehun offered. I was too
drowsy to object. Sehun had maneuvered behind
me and put on the wedding ring necklace. I felt it
as it dropped onto my neck, sitting right below
my collarbones. I picked it up gently and
examined it. "S-Sehun..this is too expensive.." I
said, a yawn invading my body shortly
afterwards. Sehun looked irritated and shook his
head. "I don't spend money...All I do is save
it..so that was something I decided to buy. It
really was nothing though, so don't feel
burdened." Sehun had said.
After we had eaten and had gotten dressed, I was
staring at the necklace in my rooms' bathroom
mirror.
I hated it.
I don't want to be married to a jerk. I need to
figure more out about this deal that my parents
made with Oh Sehun. My parents must've really
needed money if they were willing to sell their
daughter...their only daughter. I felt my eyes start
to sting with tears when Sehun had walked into
the bedroom. " Sora, where are you?" He had
asked. I viciously wiped my tears away,
stumbling over my own feet out of the bathroom.
"Found you."
I nodded. "Yup. You found me. Sehun. " I
adressed. Sehun looked at me as I noticed his
eyes falling on the necklace around my neck
again. "Why... Why did you buy me?" I had asked,
staring him down. Sehun chuckled and sat on the
vanity tables' stool. "Wanna hear something
funny?" He had asked. " No. Not really." I
remarked. Sehun shot me a look and continued.
"I've always gotten everything I've wanted...ever
since I was a baby. YOU though Sora... you were
something I couldn't have...I couldn't buy
something like you...they just don't sell people.."
He said with a little chuckle. "So I bought you
under the radar. More like your parents sold you
though...." Sehun had said, looking at the carpet
now. I was irritated.
"So all good things come to an end; what're you
going to do with me when I'm not your little
amusement toy." I almost spat out. Sehun
smirked, standing up and walking towards me
slowly. My heart started beating too fast for
comfort. I took several steps back, finding myself
bumping into a wall. Sehun had me trapped
basically. It didn't make it any better that he was
taller and older than me.
He ersely my jaw with the back of his
index finger, staring into my eyes with that same
smirk. "What will happen to you when you don't
amuse me anymore?" Sehun chuckled creepily,
continuing, "Well what does anyone do with
anything that doesn't amuse them anymore?
Hm?" He had said for my ears only. I felt my
throat go dry.
He wouldn't.
Would he...?
"Would you like to tell me, Sora?" Sehun had said,
still my jaw. I clenched my teeth,
frowning. I shook my head. "Well you see doll, we
throw them out. " Sehun had calmly said, playing
with my hair now. My eyes slightly widened. " Or,
you could just be my little slave.." Sehun
said, winking at me. I pushed myself closer
towards the wall. Sehun chuckled and walked
towards the door, leaving me be. "But I don't
think that'll happen, right?" Sehun retorically said,
walking out.
No one is here to protect me either. A cold chill
traveled through my body.
Oh Sehun, you are insane!
