Unexpected reunion

Description

"Everyone, here is the new student. She just moved back to Korea after living so long in Los Ageles, Calfornia. Her Name is Krystal. She will be studying here with all of you" Said the home room teacher.

Krstal? Whishpherd in my mind.

No way. There is no way it is her right? My mind went blank when I heard that name. I slowly raise my head to look at the front of the classroom. Oh MY GOD, it's really hear. She is not looking at me, she is not smiling and she seems emotionless. I always wanted to see her again but when I actually see her again, I am so speechless and my thoughts bring me back to the past.

Once, she was such a cheerful and lovely girl. We live in the same neighborhood and we were also in the same class. We were kind of best friends since we were young. But later when we were in High School, I realized that I can't take her out of my eyes and she is more than a friend to me. She felt the same too. I confessed to her and she also accepted me. Nothing change since we were friends and even though we are a couple, we are still like friends so, our relationship is very strong. She would not misunderstood me if other girls are trying to hit on me. Just like that, I would never misunderstand her love. Therer were time when we kissed and there were times when we slept together. But aren't you curious about how we turned out to be like this? Hmm....I don't want to recall the past.

The problem started when my parents figured out that her family background is weak. When we were a couple, we never thought of that. It ididn't matter to us as long as we love each other. My parents went to her house when she was home and throw money to them to make her daughter stay a way from me. And of course, I only figure it out after she left to Calfornia. I never thought that I would live without her but I actually did after that. After she left, I never heard anything from her. She didn't have a friend when she was in the school because I was her only friend at that time. And today is the first time seeing her in 2 years. She seems the same as before. Beautiful, lovely and fair skin. But there is something that has changed. Her smile. There is no smile on face but coldness. I wonder if she would recognize me but I'm sure that she would as I was someone who affected her life.

What a bad life I'm having. I'm trying to avoid people who I can't forgive and forget but why do I actually have to meet him here. Of course, I'm thinking that only myself. I thought he might stay at the old school so that I moved into this school but why did he has to be here. Anyway, you were surprised to see me again right? Looking at your schocked face and happy eyes put a scarsm smile on my face. You will know who I am and how bad I can be? Let's see. I just hope tha you will pretend like you don't know me as I would do the same as well. No, I mean let's not talk at all and forget each other's existence. I have got so much pain because of you.

"Ok take care of her since she is new here and she has not been for a long time. Go and sit at the empty seat Krystal" said the teacher.

"Yes" replied me.

I can fee that the eyes of the students are all on me except that someone. A girl approaches me and say hi and introduce herself. She seems to be humourous which is a type that I like.

"I'm Ji Soo and nice to meet you. Let's be friend" Said Ji Soo.

Okay" I said that while giving a little smile.

I never atctually expected this time to go. With the thought that he is living somewhere else, I decided to move into this school after my mom passed away and my dad remarried. I don't want to bother living with them so, I decided to live alone with the heritage that my mom left for me. I am the only child so, my mom left me all of her properties. Even though it is not much. It is enough for me alone. My dad is doing well with his business and his next marriage. My step-mother is not so bad. She is kind enough but I decided not to stay with them as I feel like I'm an outsider. My dad welcomes me back anytime if I want to go back to his house.

That's how I moved back to where I was born which is here.

Nothing has changed except technically. When I left Korea, I was in my Junior High and now, I'm at my first year of seniors. Of course, I have grown into a teenager with a girly look.

The bell ring for the lunch. Every students are running out of the class either for snacks or Lunch. I'm siting alone don't know what to do. Just then, Ji Soo approached me and say,

"let's have lunch Krystal. It's the lunch time. Lunch in our school is the best even if the students are not best :)" Ji Soo is a very honest and active girl.

" I'm sorry but I have something to do during lunch but I will eat with you tomorrow" i told her with a smile.

" OK, I won't let u go tomorrow" said Ji Soo.

I just want to be alone but I had no choice but to lie to Ji Soo tha I have somthing to do. I left the classroom to the rooftop. There is no one on the roof. It's very silent and peaceful. I put my earphone on and play my music while I'm lying down on the porch.

Everyone is eating and I try to look for her without myself noticing it. She is nowhere found. Where is she? Why doesn't she take lunch? I left the lunch room and run back to the class but she is not there. Then, I remember, when we were in the same school, she usually bring snacks to the roof to eat it during lunch. I went to look for her there and there  she is. Lying down while the earphone is on her. If it was in the past then, I would go to her and scare her but now, I just have to look at her from far away. The bell ring again and we all went back to our classroom. Her first day of school just ended like that. I want to call her phone but I don't know her number. I sent email to the email account that she used  before but I never received any answer from her.
