Pepper starts the day crying… again.

She’s been like this since 12 midnight because she thought, like always, her boyfriend, Kim Jae Joong will be the first to greet her. Well, she expect too much. It’s 8am already but her superstar boyfriend hasn’t sent her any message. Even a ‘good morning’ or ‘hi’ will lessen her anger but there isn’t any. She started crying again.

12 Noon.

Pepper is so hungry and having headaches because of hours of non-stop crying but she has no choice but to wake up and go to her afternoon shift. She just took a bath and went to their office, not caring of what she looks like or even if her stomach is complaining. It’s her birthday and she’s used to eating foods JJ cooked for her during that special occasion.

When she arrived at the office, she wonders why no one is greeting her. That’s strange. Even the janitors know her birthday. She looked around but everyone is busy doing their tasks. She starts to feel miserable again.

7 PM.

One of her officemates went to her and asked if she won’t be leaving the place. “The night shifts will be coming anytime soon.” She told her.

“Oh. Okay.” Pepper started gathering her shuffled things on the table.

She looked around and saw that everyone is already gone. Great! Just great!

“Problem?” Her officemate asked.

“Nothing! Let’s Go.”

She started walking with her officemate. Finding it strange that she has to walk with her to her door. Even though they live at the same building, she lives 4 doors before her.

“Ahm…you can go now. Thanks for accompanying me.” She smiled. At least she’s not alone today. She opened her door and walks in when her officemate just grabbed her and covered her eyes using her hands.

“What the—“

“Sssh…just walk. It’s a surprise.” She told her.

Pepper smiled knowing her officemates prepared something for her. So that’s why they’re acting strange today. Ok, they’re forgiven. She just walks as her friend guide her towards somewhere.

“Don’t open your eyes until I say so, okay? It will ruin the surprise.” Her officemate giggled as she removed her hands from her.

“Okay.” Pepper answered smiling. She thought this day would miserably pass by. At least, they remember her birthday. Unlike that jerk!

As she is thinking about how she would break-up with Jaejoong, a soft melody plays in the air, followed by a soft voice saying, “You can open your eyes now honey.”

Pepper opened her eyes which started to cry again as she see what’s in front of her. That jerk is now in front of her playing the piano with an unfamiliar song. She heard and memorized every song that Jaejoong composed. He makes sure that she listens to it before submitting to his producers. He even told her that every word is for her.

“Hahaha! You’re crying again! This song is for you baby.” Jaejoong said, smiling at her.

She listens to every word and melody. It really touches her heart. Then he stopped playing and started to walk towards her.

“I’m sorry Honey but the song isn’t finished yet.” Jaejoong said.

“B-but why?” Pepper asked.

“Well..it depends on your answer to my question my lady.” Jae said playfully.

“Huh? Me? What question?” She started to get confused. Jaejoong always finished his song. He couldn’t sleep if he can’t perfect it.

 “Will you marry me?” Jaejoong suddenly asked then kneeled in front of her and offers her a ring.

A loud cheer is heard behind her. She’s surprised and looked around. Everyone is here. Even her family too! She’s not prepared. Oh my God! Kim Jae Joong is proposing to her! She’s been waiting for years and now it seems like what’s happening is just a dream.

“Baby, we’re all waiting.” Jaejoong said, looking nervous.

“H-how could I refuse?” Pepper answered.

“Babe, that’s not it. I know you won’t refuse but a question is not answered by another question.” Jaejoong said playfully.

“Y-yes! Of course, Yes! Kim Jaejoong you jerk!” Pepper said as she suddenly reached for Jae and hugged him tight.

“Hahaha! Baby I can’t breathe.” Jae complained.

“Serves you right! You made me wait! You haven’t even greeted me today. It’s my birthday!!!” She whines.

“Happy birthday, my love” Jaejoong said as he cupped her face to kissed her.

Pepper succumbed to his kisses despite the loud cheer everyone is making.

The annoying loud music starts. Urgh. They’re still kissing, why is everyone playing rock songs?

Thud.

Pepper falls from her bed.

“Yaaaah! What the ! Someone is sleeping here! Aish!”

Someone just snatch her beautiful dream! She won’t let it pass. It’s her birthday today and that dream is so perfect to start her day but some jerk ruined it!

She moves out of her apartment without checking herself in the mirror. She remembers someone is moving in the next door and she’s one hundred percent sure that the rock music is coming from there! This is a peaceful neighborhood. Someone should tell him!

Pepper knocked non-stop. The door opened, revealing her new neighbor.

And Pepper couldn’t help but melt in embarrassment as she saw who it was.

“Yes?” The guy asked and smiled at her. Just ing smiled at her!

Pepper just shakes her head and stares at the half man in front of her. Oh those delicious abs.

The man couldn’t help but smiled. She is sure an interesting one, knocking on neighbor’s door early in the morning with disheveled hair and unwashed face.

“Good morning. By the way, you still have something in your eyes and mouth. But I appreciate the morning look.” The man said winking at her.

“Who’s that?” Someone from behind the man asked.

“I think she’s our neighboor baby.”

“Oh, hi!” The other man said. “Excuse us, but we’re cleaning the house for a moment. Are we making some noise?”

Pepper just nods at him. Shocked is an understatement if you’ll describe her now.

“Sorry about that. I’ll turn the volume down.” The second man apologized at her.

“Yeah, we’re sorry. But if we turn the volume down, we’ll embarrass the whole neighborhood with the SOUND we makes while CLEANING.” The first man smiled mischievously at Pepper. He made sure to emphasize his words.

“Yah!” The second man looks scandalized.

“It’s okay.” Pepper can’t think of anything to say.

“See? She said it was okay. Come one baby! Lots of positioning to do!” The first man said, laughing, as he walked inside and all Pepper could see is his blonde hair.

“Sorry about that.” The second guy with black hair and hazel eyes bowed at her before closing the door.

“” is all Pepper can say after she gathered her senses. This couldn’t be! The guys next door was none other than Kim Jae Joong and Jung Yunho!
