Emmy, recently graduated and new to the city for her first big job, realizes how dry her life has become when she has a hard time making friends in the new workplace. One day as she is coming back home from work, she notices the hybrid shelter in the neighborhood. Perhaps this is the solution to a lonely life in the city that never sleeps?

Luhan, just as lonely, becomes distraught as his time in the shelter increases, friends coming and going while he is left behind. When Emmy decides to adopt him, Luhan promises the both of them that she won't regret giving him a chance at a new life.
