Yuri paced back and forth while rubbing her chin while Tiffany and I looked at her warily. Yuri stopped and let out an exasperated sigh

“Okay… So let me get this straight… You two are together now? As in together-together?!”

Tiffany and I both nodded slowly, “Wow… Seriously Kim Taeyeon!? Like seriously!?”

“Yah! Am I not even allowed to make decisions for myself?!”

Yuri scoffed, “Oh I’m sorry, I forgot that we are best friends!”

 I stood up, “Yah! We’re keeping this relationship discreet because of some important reasons!”

“Like what?!”

“Her being the daughter of the owner of this university…”

Yuri sighed heavily and sat in between us, “If this comes out, I’ll put her name in a bad situation… I didn’t mean to keep this from you… I’m just…”

Yuri cocked a brow, “Just what?”

“Just waiting for the right time…”

Yuri then stood up and looked at Tiffany, “And you!”

Tiffany pointed at herself, “Me?”

“Yeah! What on earth did you eat that made you like Kim Taeyeon!?”

“Yah! Are you saying that I’m ugly!?” I tried to oppose

“Shut up midget or I’ll tell her something you don’t want her to know!”

And then I sat there quietly. Yuri let out an exasperated sigh, “So what made you like her?”

Tiffany bit her lower lip as she thought deeply, “Surely, there are so many people that’s been chasing you around and yet you chose my friend. I just hope you did not date her just because you’re bored…”

“I…” Yuri and I both anticipated her answer. I bit my nails as Yuri gulped really hard in anticipation. Tiffany hummed as we wait, but with these kinds of situations, patience was never our friend

“My god Tiffany! Can you not prolong the agony!? It’s driving me nuts too!”

“I’m sorry! It’s just that… There are so many things that I just can’t put into words…”

Yuri then sighed, “Oh come ‘on! Lunch break’s almost over!”

Tiffany then sighed deeply, “I like her because---“

And then Sooyoung barged in, “Hey guys--- Uhh, T-Tiffany-sshi?”

I pulled Tiffany and took her palm and wrote some random scribbles on it, “Okay, so the project would start from here, I’ll do the introduction and don’t forget to read page four hundred and forty four for more information, okay!?”

Tiffany looked at me confusingly while I just smiled at her awkwardly. Yuri then fake-coughed and shoved some bread in Tiffany’s mouth which made her choke a little, “Please eat healthily Tiffany-sshi, we don’t want you to be malnourished!”

Sooyoung walked towards our direction and we beamed at her widely. She then bowed slightly at Tiffany and we could just push her away towards the exit of the roof top. Tiffany glanced at us one last time and I just smiled at her, “Study well!”

Tiffany then finally disappeared in our sights while Sooyoung looked at us weirdly, “Okay… That was a little… Awkward…”

Yuri and I both chuckled nervously, “R-really?!”

Sooyoung cocked a brow, “Well yeah, I mean, she would come here? That’s weird…”

We both nodded meekly at Sooyoung, “So anyways… I was just wondering if you guys have free time on Saturday, grandma’s coming home and you know how much she likes you…”

Grandma Choi. The woman we’ve always loved because she’s lovely and because her cooking is also awesome. Yuri and I smiled at her, “Sure, we’d love to see her again!”

Sooyoung smiled, “Okay then, it’s settled! We’ll just meet ten in the morning and head to her ho---”

“I was just wondering if we could join another friend…”

Sooyoung furrowed her eyebrows, “Uhh, who’s this friend you’re speaking of?”

Yuri looked at me and smiled at me mischievously, “Tiffany. Tiffany Hwang…” No…

“Tiffany? As in the Tiffany Hwang?” Yuri nodded meekly, “Are you sure about that Yul?”

Yuri smiled, “Well yeah, I mean, Taeyeon’s already friends with her, so why not be friends with her too, right?”

Sooyoung nodded, “Hmm, I suppose you make a good point…” she then looked at me and smiled, “You can invite her Tae…”

I looked at her with wide eyes, “WHAT?! Why me!?”

“Uhh, because you’re close now? And besides, like what grandma says, the more, the merrier”

And then our conversation was suddenly halted by the bell. I could feel something bad is forming in the pit of my stomach. The idea of inviting my own girlfriend may somehow lead us to a disaster
