“Do you really have to go?” He asked pleadingly. “When people go to the US, they never come back.” His eyes started tearing, as he looked into the eyes of the one he loved.

“I’ll come back.” She said assuringly. “I won’t leave you like your family. So promise me that you’ll always smile. Always.” She said as she pinched the cheek of her best friend, looking at him with only one eye.

“I know he did it, I know it! He was just cheating her!” He heard her say as he saw the picture of his dead girlfriend on the on the overhead, blue eyes wide open.

“The defendant is proven innocent.” He heard cries of disbelief throughout the court, and glares of hate as he stepped out of the building, as if assassins were already on him. The image of his girlfriend still lingered in his head, as he let a tear escape from his eye. He didn’t do it, but he would never be able to prove his innocence to everyone else, despite the court hearing. He knew he needed to pack his things and head back to Korea.
