Mrs. Lee: okay class! you may now go to your group for the play of romeo and juliet!

 

my teacher instructed, I stand up and cursed

 

me: *mumbles* aish.. why do we need to do this?

 

I sat next to jia, who's my one of my friends in the classroom

I gasped when I saw kyuhyun on our group

I didn't know he's with us.

Well.. today I'm so lucky! 

 

jia: As the director of this group, I will let you all decide the roles

 

I was about to volunteer when nicoloe in 

 

nicole: me! I wanna be juliet, kyuhyun will be romeo!

kyuhyun: *wakes up* huh? I didn't do anything!

nicole: aish! oppa didn't sleep last night eh! so what ya think?

kyuhyun: uh.. yeah.

nicole: yes!

 

THIS GIRL MAKES ME WANNA RIP HER APART.

I wanna be juliet, I've waited for this but alas.. she took it.. again.

 

me: then I'll be lady capulet.

jia: ara.. ara.. *smiles*

 

she assigned to those who doesn't want to have lines in the play

I stared jia and she gave me a 'sorry, I didn't mean to' smile 

I smiled back and just nodded

 

weeks passed, we're practicing very hard on a studio nicole own

even though I dont like my role, I always tried my best 

I hope he will notice me.. kyuhyun, please notice me.

I looked at him and he was sitting next to nicole who keeps on bugging him

he just frowned and moved away from her

I tried to hide my laugh when he looked at my direction

ooh gosh, he caught me staring at him

I looked away and I avoided his awkward stares

 

jia: nice performance!

min: gomawo~ 

doojoon: well.. as the handsome guy here..

jia: *smacks his forehead* ... shut up and continue painting the trees!

yoseob: ohh.. that's gotta hurt!

 

 

1 week before the competition, nicole got a high fever

which she was rushed to the hospital

 

jia: what?! but the presentation is a week from now!

me: why? what happened to nicole??

jia: wait, I'll put on loud speak. *pressed the button* hey.. nicole can you hear me?

nicole: yeah.. I'm so sorry! I caused too much trouble to our group

jia: No it's okay, we'll find another substitute.

nicole: why dont you pick ________.

jia: okay... i'll just convince her

 

she hung up and she smiled at me

and she whispered on my ear

 

"it's your time to be with your long time love, go get it!"

 

she patted my shoulder

she told the other members that nicole will be gone for a week

everybody gasped and she also told them about me taking nicole's role

min, jessica, tiffany and suzy, approached me and said their good luck to me

then kyuhyun handed me the script 

 

kyuhyun: here, you can do it. *smiles*

me: ah.. ne~ *blush*

kyuhyun: so shall we?

me: I .. uh---

 

jia and the others interrupted us, they bid goodbye because they have

their own lives and schedules

we waved and they closed the door

 

kyuhyun: i guess it's only two of us. *chuckles*

me: yeah.. so..

kyuhyun: yeah, have you memorize some? 

me: ne! half of it.

kyuhyun: Good.

 

we practiced and practiced, we didn't noticed we're having fun

he sat on the floor and I sat beside him

 

kyuhyun:  you learn fast eh?

me: yep! I'm a fast learner, I love acting.

kyuhyun: are you also fast learner in... love?

me: anio.. I dont know..

 

20 minutes passed and we talked about random things

I didn't know he's so talkative

 

Kyuhyun's POV

 

she's a good person waaaay better than nicole

who kept on bugging me to court her

 

_______: I didn't know you're so talkative and kind

kyuhyun: I'm talkative and kind when I'm comfortable with the person I'm with

________: ohhh.. so, you're comfortable.. with me?

kyuhyun: I guess so *i looked at her*

__________: *smiles widely* I'm glad you're enjoying my company.

 

she smiles like every after 1 minute

she's pretty and full of joy..

I think I already fell for her.

 

Back to _______' s POV

 

6 days passed I was preparing myself 

I'm so excited when ..

 

nicole: I'm back!

 

everybody cheered and hugged her

I felt shocked and at the same time happy that she came back

I looked at kyuhyun he was smiling too

 

nicole: *approaches me* hey! thanks for taking care of my yeobo!

me: hmm? yeobo?

nicole: ne! kyuhyun yeobo!

me: *faked smile* since when?

nicole: yesterday! 

 

I looked at kyuhyun, he was texting 

I bowed at nicole and got out from the studio

I felt tears tickling down my cheeks

 

I sat down on the bench of the amusement park

I wipe my tears and checked my phone

 

"this is what I get for expecting too much."

 

I think to myself

I was so sure that he will like me but I was wrong

I think he wont see me 

 

after that  I headed to my house and slammed myself onto my bed

I cried thinking how stupid I'am expecting for something that will not really happen

I sworn that I will never ever talk to him again

 

The next day I woke up with a wasted look

I washed up the mascara that trailed down to my cheeks because of my drama last night

I checked my phone and I saw 2 messages and 1 miss call

 

I opened it and it was only from my jia who's wishing us good luck for tomorrow

and  miss call from dad in US

I grabbed my towel and took a shower

 

I arrived at the studio and they're all set

jia run towards me and pushed me to the comfort room

 

jia: ppali! change your costume

me: ah! wait! 

jia: I'll help you

 

in less than 15 minutes we're done with the make up and costume

but they're still doing my hair

I took a glance on the mirror and I saw nicole cuddling kyuhyun

kyuhyun wore a beautiful old english 

which --- AISH! stop thinking about him!

 

Time flies fast and the play ended 

we were happy that we were praised by the audience and teachers

suzy called for a party in her house

but I declined the offer

 

min: you sure you dont wanna come?

me: i'm sure. bye!

suzy and min: byeee~ 

 

I closed the door and I was passing on the park when someone grabbed my hand

 

me: ahhhh! who are---- kyuhyun?!

kyuhyun: _________.

me: what?! let go of me!

kyuhyun: I'm not her boyfriend

me: then what did she--

kyuhyun: it was all lies! the night before I told her that I love someone else

 

I stared at him and listening to his reasons

 

me: then.....?

kyuhyun:.... I always love this girl, she can make me smile without trying

she's giving all of her heart when doing what she wants..

and the girl I'am referring of.. is YOU. ___________, I LOVE YOU!

 

I was dumbfounded of his sudden confession

I closed my eyes and took a deep sigh

 

me: stop  fooling me.. i'm always invisible to you..

 

I turn around but her pulled me and kissed me 

my eyes widened, he broke from the kiss and pointed to a star on the north

 

kyuhyun: see that star? that's you.

I may not look at you often but you're the brightest of them all,

you're my polaris.

 

he hugged me tight and tears falling down on my cheeks

I didn't know he notices me even though he's surrounded my girls

I didn't know, he felt the same way 

 

"... dont cry, _______. I'm sorry I was so numb, I kept on

telling myself that I dont love you.. I kept on convincing myself that one day our paths will never meet.

I'm sorry for not telling you earlier that I love you"

 

he whispered and I just hugged him

 

 

 

"YAH! BAE _____________!"

 

wait, I heard my mom's voice.

 

"BAE __________. WAKE UP!!!"

 

she shook me on the bed and I frowned because all of that was just

a dream, I sighed and took a bath.

 

I reached school and I'm late for English class

 

me: mianhe for being late!

Mrs. lee: that's okay, please take your sit

me: kamsa! *sits on my chair* 

 

I saw kyuhyun on the window, I guess I'll only kiss you in my dreams eh? 

 

Mrs. lee: now class! I just want to congratulate you for all of your hard work in the play, romeo and juliet

 

my eyes widened, then I received a messaged 

from an unknown number

 

Hey, yeobo~ how's sleep? it's me kyuhyun. 

let's eat together later, arasso? saranghae! <333333
