Description

After losing the love of his life, Yongguk struggles to find a reason and the strength to move forward. He finds it in an unexpected place. Sometimes it takes more pain to make sense of loss...

Chapter 1: Quite the bittersweet read. I liked how you focused on the relationship between the brothers along with the loss they were both experiencing. Obviously, it was about love to an extent, but different kinds as well, and that was really touching. It felt a little confusing at the beginning with how you phrased things because it made me think Himchan's passing had just happened (and maybe it did but the time jump after wasn't as clear to me) so I got a little lost between the opening and the one year anniversary date but overall, I think you conveyed the emotion well. Junhong's desire to hide away with zoning music and Yongguk's quiet persistence in taking care of him. How they both had to help each other by the end. And you got me with Junhong's words there. Quite the speech from someone his age, but grief will do that to you sometimes I guess. The ending was enjoyable if only because it conveys a sense of hope and renewal, which was just the breath of fresh air that was needed to take the edge off. Nicely done. :)
