Your boyfriend, Jongdae or best known as Chen would always pull a prank once or twice and you always enjoyed his fun and games but you had never done it before so this time you decided to try it for yourself!

Today was your 1st Anniversary, you hoped he wouldn’t have forgotten such a special occasion like this, even with his busy schedule he always had time to spend time with you even if that meant sneaking out.

You finished preparing as you watched this week’s Inkigayo Episode waiting for EXO to perform and a few other idol groups you like. Suddenly you heard a little ping from your phone and you looked at the text:

“Hey Babe, don’t forget to cheer for me!

We’re heading on stage now! XOXO

Love Chen”

That was it! No Happy Anniversary? ‘He couldn’t have forgotten maybe this is just his prank.’ you thought. You heard EXO’s name being called out and flicked your head at the TV screen and just as EXO had entered the stage the camera had focused on the one and only Chen, he gave a little wink to the camera which drove the fan girls crazy and all you could think was ‘Sorry but that’s for me~’. You giggled to yourself but you were still worried that he might have forgotten your Anniversary.

During the announce meant of the winner you could see Chen made a heart towards the camera and sneakily mouth ‘I love you’, you couldn’t help but feel butterflies in your stomach. Inkigayo had finished and EXO had won their fifth consecutive win, you were excited but you expected it since Chen and his band mates had amazing singing, dancing and rapping talents but you couldn’t help but be bias to Chen, he was your boyfriend after all. You then received another text:

“Wasn’t I great?! Well I mean weren’t we great! Haha!

Can’t wait to see you at home ;) XOXO

Love Chen”

You couldn’t wait until Chen came home, you made sure everything was according to plan, you balanced the plastic cup of water on the slightly opened door  you waited by the window to check if Chen had arrived and just as you saw him and he saw you,  waited slightly outside the door and exchanged a smile. He came out his car holding a medium sized box wrapped in white paper with a red bow on top. ‘So he hadn’t forgotten’ you thought as you smiled. He arrived at door front and placed the box in your hand and placed a quick peck on your cheek.

“Happy Anniversary, Babe! Here open it!” He smiled excited. You nodded and slowly untied the bow and then the paper. Inside was a small container, you looked closely and saw a fairly large spider. You hated and were scared bugs! You never told Chen that you were scared of bugs since you thought it would be embarrassing. You chucked the box away but Chen caught it as he was laughing his head off as you stepped back and hit the door in panic causing the cup of water to splash all over you.

You couldn’t hold back your tears as they rolled down your cheeks, Chen noticed you crying and placed the container down as kneeled down and he pulled you into a soft embrace. “Silly, you should have told me that you were scared of bugs. Baby don’t cry, I’m sorry…” he whispered into your ear.

He lifted you up bridal style which he had never done before. “J-J-Jongdae put me down!” you sniffed wiping your tears.

He laughed “My fair princess, we need to get you changed, you’re completely soaked!” He winked then plopped you down in you room and sat down on your bed, you stood there with a flustered face until you grabbed him and pushed him towards the door “Not with you here!” you exclaimed.

But before you could push him out he lifted your chin and placed a sweet but forcing kiss on our soaked lips. You wrapped your arms around his neck to deepen the kiss; he then pulled away to then whisper in your ear “I love you. Happy Anniversary Babe”.  

You then replied “I love you too.”
