“OMO CHANYEOLLIE:O! WAHHH KAI’S DAEBAK!! D.O I love you!!!!<3”

Aishhh, my friends, Yora, Minyoung and Steff are fangurling over EXO’s new album, Overdose again. Hehehe my friends know that my ultimate bias is LUHAN^^. But he’s already an idol so no matter how pretty I am, I will not be able to date him:( *cries*

Or will I?

 

CHAPTER 1

His cocoa brown eyes, his double eyelids, his gorgeous smile. These are the traits of him that I never fail to donate a smile to everyday. He never fails to brighten up my mornings whenever I see on my IPhone wallpaper.

I yawned. Sunlight streamed in through the windows, signaling the start of a new day. “Morning LuHan:)”, I said to my screen. Then soon after, I brushed my teeth and got ready for school. It’s finally my last year and after this year, I will get to graduate! YAY!!!

I was looking through my cellphone and checking my Whatsapp messages when I accidentally bumped into someone.

“Are you okay?” the other party asked. Oh that familiar voice…

 

*FLASHBACK*

I was shaking like a leaf from the nervousness. My hands were cold and clammy as I prepared what I was going to say to him.

“Kangwoo, I really like you a lot, will you go out with me?” I stuttered but managed to get the sentence out of my mouth.

“Um, sorry but I already have a girl I fancy.” He said and walked away without saying another word. He is partially the reason why I am afraid to confess to guys now.

                             ***

“I don’t need your help.” I said coldly as I brushed off the dirt on my arms. I still recalled how I cried so badly that fateful day.

“Hey look, Rachie, if you still hate me for that day, I am really sorry okay? I am sorry for leaving you standing there that day. Something cropped up and I had to go. I really hope you’ll forgive me.” Kangwoo said in an apologetic tone.

“I had already forgiven you a long time ago. But I just couldn’t accept the fact that you left me standing there without apologizing properly to me.” With those words, I turned away from him and walked away.

 

CHAPTER 2

School was boring, as always, but luckily it was my last year. Yora, Minyoung, Steff and I had a “study date” after school so we could help each other out.

“Hey, I’m just gonna return some books to the library okay? Meet you guys in the canteen!” I told them and they nodded back in response.

At the library, I saw him again, Kangwoo of course. He was acting strangely around me nowadays. He even asks me how am I doing when he didn’t even use to do that last time.

“Hey, I need to talk to you.” He said to me while I was returning the library books through the bookdrop.

“We have nothing to talk about.” I said, not making any eye contact with him.

“I know you still hate me but I just want to tell you that, I think I am starting to fall for you.”

                            ***

I was shocked at what he said. So shocked that my legs started to take off and soon enough, I found that I was running away from him.

Thoughts raced through my mind as I ran. Why would he suddenly tell me that? Right, as if he would like me after that incident. It’s not possible for him to like me.

I didn’t know what to do so I went to the nearest toilet and let my emotions out. After that, I washed my face and went to the canteen to meet them.

When they saw my puffy red eyes, they started questioning me as to what happened.

“He’s such a jerk back then! You shouldn’t trust him anymore.” Yora said.

“I totally agree! Rachie you are a pabo if you continue trusting him!” Steff exclaimed.

After all that he has done to me, they’re right.

I shouldn’t be trusting him anymore.

 

CHAPTER 3

Since that day, mysterious notes and presents have been appearing on my desk. Although there was not identity to the person who left them, obviously I knew who it was.

As I was busy revising for the upcoming exams, I told my friends that I would meet them at the cafeteria after collating my notes.

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door of the classroom.

“Kangwoo??!!”

My eyes widened when he pecked my lips.

“Told you I was falling for you. Message me by 9pm tonight if you still like me.” With that, he turned and left.

What should I do?

I didn’t tell anyone about the kiss. I kept it to myself and now I am on my bed tossing and turning. It was ten minutes to nine. I was so confused with my emotions. I acted cold to him, but part of me still has feelings for him and wants me to message him at nine. Time was ticking away furiously. How I wished my exams could pass this fast.

Two minutes to nine.

One minute left.

“Cuckoo cuckoo!” the cuckoo clock in my living room reminded me that it was nine.

9:01

That’s it. I didn’t message him.

                              ***

Finally feeling relieved, I went to sleep.

 

I dreaded going to school today. I knew that he would question me as to why I didn’t accept him. I realized last night that I didn’t have feelings for him. It was just an infatuation. And I didn’t know how I was going to explain it to him that.

“Why Rachie? Why didn’t you message me last night? I was up all night to see if you messaged, and you didn’t.” Kangwoo asked.

“Sorry but I don’t have feelings for you anymore. Please accept the fact that after you left me that day, I began to lose interest in you, knowing the fact that it was useless for me to like a person who doesn’t like me back.” I said.

I was about to leave for my next class when he grabbed my wrist.

“Please don’t do this to me, Rachie.”

I forcefully tugged at my wrist and he let go.

And I left without saying anything.

 

CHAPTER 4

“OMYGOSH EXO’S COMING FOR THEIR CONCERT! OMYGOSH OMYGOSH OMYGOSH!!!” Yora exclaimed. Our whole “clique” gathered around her computer screen. True enough, EXO was coming for their concert, #1 EXO FROM. EXOPLANET: THE LOST PLANET. We started fangurling and fantasizing about how we might get a chance to meet the members.

“The concert date is just after our exams! WE ARE SO FATED TO GO TO THEIR CONCERT!” Minyoung said after taking a closer look at Yora’s computer screen.

We agreed to go to the airport to welcome them as well as buy tickets to their concert together.

How I wished time would pass faster.

I can’t wait.

 

A few weeks later…

Exams are finally over. All the years of studying has finally paid off. I can’t wait till graduation. And most importantly, Exo’s concert.

Countdown: 3 more days to THE LOST PLANET

I marked it on my calendar.

They had already started selling tickets to the concert and we managed to get VIP seats and backstage passes to see EXO!

Squealing with joy, we got down to business making banners for the concert. We also bought a lot of fanmade stuff online for many fan projects. The official lightstick was already preordered by Steff online. Everything was in place and we were set to go for the concert.

Countdown: 1 more day to THE LOST PLANET.

EPPPPPP!!! I was having difficulty breathing at the thought that the concert is just tomorrow. My friends and I had already picked out the outfits that we were going to wear to the concert. They were all the same. Except that our varsity jackets were of different designs.

We had sources telling us that EXO was coming today, to rehearse for The Lost Planet. Thus, me and my “clique” went to the airport, hoping to catch a glimpse of them.

 

Who knew what happened to me next could change my life, forever.
