Realization hit him hard as he was on the train to the Capitol. He just volunteered.

He volunteered for his sister. And right now, he was on the train leading to his possible death.

The Tributes:

 

District 1:

Jung Yunho

Amber Liu

District 1's industry is making luxury items for the Capitol. Due to the nature of its industry, it's considered to be the wealthiest district, the only other wealthier area being the Capitol itself. It is a Career District. 

 

District 2:

Kim Youngwoon

Jessica Jung

District 2's industry is masonry, but also manufactures weaponry, makes trains, and supplies Peacekeepers. Citizens of District 2 are sometimes called "the pets" of the Capitol. They are the biggest supporters of the Capitol and therefore are pampered and given many extra conveniences.

 

District 3:

Shin Donghee

Choi Jinri

District 3's primary industry is general electronics of many types, though it is known for also making various mechanical products such as automobiles and firearms. Their tributes are skilled with electronics.

 

District 4:

Kim Jongin

Oh Sehun

District 4's industry is fishing, thus most residents have experience using nets and tridents, making fishhooks from scratch, swimming, and identifying edible sea life. It is considered a Career district.

 

District 5:

Kim Jongwoon

District 5's industry is power.

 

District 6:

District 6's industry is transportation. 

 

District 7:

Park Chanyeol

District 7's industry is lumber and many of its residents have experience with hatchets, axes, saws, and other tree cutting tools. Also,This district's children begin work at an early age.

 

District 8:

District 8's industry is the production of textiles, and they have at least one factory that is primarily used for making Peacekeeper uniforms.

 

District 9:

Byun Baekhyun

District 9's industry is grain. Little is known about this district, just that there are lots of farmland for grain.

 

District 10:

Kim Junmyeon

District 10's industry is livestock. Not much is known about this district, but some known information is that its marriage rituals are similar to that of District 4's.

 

District 11:

Wu Yifan

District 11's industry is agriculture - orchards and fields of grain and cotton surround the district. Almost everything grown is shipped directly to the Capitol. It is one of the poorest districts in Brittanica, second only to District 12. In addition, it is also one of the districts where the Peacekeepers are the strictest. Ironically, this directly results in its residents generally being malnourished and underfed despite its focus on agriculture.

 

District 12:

Do Kyungsoo

Luhan

District 12's industry is coal. District 12 is located somewhere near what was the Ash mountains hence their district's industry. The district has the distinction of being one of the poorest districts, if not the outright poorest, in all of Brittanica. District 12 is the laughing stock of Brittanica.

 

Other Characters:

 

Lu Yoona

She is the 16 year old sister of Luhan. She was picked to compete in the Hunger Games in the Reaping if not for her brother who volunteered. She is very close with Luhan and Luhan, even though lacking in money, would always spoil her sister by buying her things she likes such as dresses if he has enough money.

 

Song Jihyo

She is the of the tributes from District 12 to the Capitol. She also helps in styling and mentoring them. She makes stunning outfits for the tributes especially Luhan for the tribute parade, and interview.

 

Kang Gary

He is the one styling Kyungsoo's outfits and helping Jihyo design awesome outfits for the tribute parade and the interview. He also helps in mentoring them and keeping the relaxed by making jokes. He sometimes accompany Jihyo to the tributes to the Capitol. He is Jihyo's unofficial boyfriend.

 

Kim Jongkook

He is a known victor in the Hunger Games from District 12. He's the mentor of Luhan and Kyungsoo.

 

Yoo Jaesuk

He is the host in the Hunger Games. He is famous for being funny and any negative thoughts are being turned into positive as soon as he talks.

 

Kim Youngmin

He is the cold, heartless president of Brittanica. He holds total control over Brittanica's government. He is very ruthless and proven to be cruel and manipulative over Brittanica and it's districts. 

 

Word Guide:

 

Hunger Games - It is a morbid and brutal competition which took place annually in the country of Brittanica. The tributes arre forced to kill each other and it was brodcasted live on every districts.

Tributes - They are the residents from the 12 districts that are chosen and forced to compete in the annual Hunger Games. Twenty four children from the age of 12 to 18 are chosen at random.

The Reaping - It is an annual event that takes place in every district before the Hunger Games to choose the tributes that will participate in the Hunger Games.

Quarter Quells - Every 25 years, the tributes are chosen in a different manner. The rules at the Reaping change for every Quarter Quell. The rules are specified in a special envelope sent by the president ahead of time.

Brittanica - Brittanica is a nation that was established during an unknown time period in a post-apocalyptic world. It was said to be founded by an explorer named Brittany Danica and other companions. The name of the country Brittanica came from BRITTAN from Brittany and ICA from Danica which resulted in the name Brittanica.

Tribute Parade - When entering the Training Center, tributes were required to enter via Chariot Rides that would show the audience what to expect from the competitors of each district. It is very important because it is a chance to make a good impression to the citizens of Capitol and potential sponsors. A good impression is very important as to get as much sponsors as possible. For each Hunger Games, it is required that the districts enter in numerical order, starting with District 1 and finishing with District 12.

Interview - The night before the start of each Hunger Games, Yoo Jaesuk hosts and interview with each of the tributes. The tributes dress up as nice as possible to make an impression on the Capitol and possibly get a sponsor or two. Jaesuk asks them about their life back home, their time in the Capitol so far, their training score, and the reaping. His mission is to try to enlighten and relax them for the upcoming Hunger Games the next day. The purpose of the interview is to let the people know more about the Tributes and help them choose their favorites. Their is always an interview before the Games and after the Games with the Victor.

Sponsorship - Tributes are sponsored based on their opening ceremonies, training scores, impression on the interviews, performance in the arena, etc. Their mentor, with the help of the , help them try to get as much sponsors as possible.

Peacekeepers - They are controlled by the Capitol and was tasked to keep order throughout the nation of Brittanica.

 

This fanfic is mainly inspired by The Hunger Games Series and Insurgence. That fanfic is seriously amazing! Read it, you're gonna be wanting for more!
