For Kim Sunggyu, Jang Dongwoo was the first person he befriended as a trainee. He had never felt 

the need for friends, and yet the persistence of the younger boy broke through his walls and made 

them collapse around him. They would share late nights talking about other idols and eating (healthy) 

snacks to satisfy their hunger. For Kim Sunggyu, Jang Dongwoo is his best friend.

For Nam Woohyun, Jang Dongwoo was the first person who accepted him as a part of Infinite. 

Viewed as arrogant and annoying by the other members, Jang Dongwoo saw through the facade to 

who he really was. He was the one who made Woohyun feel like maybe, just maybe, he could have a 

place in this group. For Nam Woohyun, Jang Dongwoo is his savior.

For Jang Dongwoo, Nam Woohyun and Kim Sunggyu were two of the most important people in his 

life. He only wished they could get along with each other as well as they got along with him. 

And because this was Jang Dongwoo, Nam Woohyun and Kim Sunggyu decided to try.

Dongwoo was sitting at the table with Sunggyu and Woohyun on either side of him when he first 

propsed the idea. Operation: Make Nam Woohyun And Kim Sunggyu Become Friends. Of course, 

the two who didn't get along at all immediately objected, and yet the boy persisted. And they gave up, 

because they love Dongwoo.

Over the weeks of attempting to become friends, Woohyun and Sunggyu discovered they had many 

things in common, ranging from their love of singing to their love of Dongwoo. The two became closer, 

and begrudginly became close friends. All because of a boy named Jang Dongwoo.

Inevitably, with this closeness came atrraction. And, as they could do nothing about their hormones as 

they were idols, Woohyun and Sunggyu turned to each other. And with each passing day, they slowly 

forgot the reason they came together in the first place.

Dongwoo watched as Kim Sunggyu and Nam Woohyun tried for him. He felt the relief when they 

started to talk more, the excitement as they became close. He felt the confusion as they started to stick 

closely to each other, the hurt with the realization they were forgetting about him. And above all, the 

pain that came with knowing he had inadvertantly caused his own destruction. After all, it was him who 

brought the two together, and now it was him who was left behind.

The other members watched as Dongwoo self destructed. They saw how Woohyun and Sunggyu 

closed everyone out of their little world. Noticed how Dongwoo pulled away from them and began 

keeping everything locked inside, hidden behind his fake smile and joyful facade. Realized that Name 

Woohyun and Kim Sunggyu, who used to care most about Dongwoo, couldn't see beyond the mask.

For Kim Sunggyu, Nam Woohyun was the last person to befriend him while he was still a trainee. He 

walked straight through the rubble Jang Dongwoo left behind when he crumbled down his walls, and 

continued right to his heart. And yet, strangely enough, not into it. Because his heart was still reserved 

for Jang Dongwoo, and he hadn't realized it until now. For Kim Sunggyu, Nam Woohyun was not his 

best friend, because that place was reserved for the boy he had forgotten.

For Nam Woohyun, Kim Sunggyu was the last to accept him into Infinite. He had slipped past the 

holes in his facade, because Jang Dongwoo had marked them clearly. And he realized that Kim 

Sunggyu hadn't really passed every obstacle he needed to face to understand the true him. Only Jang 

Dongwoo had pushed and shoved his way through every barrier and learned who he was. For Nam 

Woohyun, Kim Sunggyu was not his savior, because only Jang Dongwoo was able to save him from 

himself.

For Jang Dongwoo, Nam Woohyun and Kim Sunggyu were two of the most important people in his 

life. He only wished that he was as important for them as they were to him.

And finally, Nam Woohyun and Kim Sunggyu were able to see beyond the fake smiles amd joyful 

facade. They were able to see Jang Dongwoo, the boy who was most important to each of them, and 

begin to fix what they had done. Because for Jang Dongwoo, they would stick around and put 

together all his broken pieces.
