Foreword

‘Sunhi,’ Sunhi could feel her heart pounding in her chest as Sancheong smiled at her. He had called her out earlier that day to the café they first met each other in. She was terrified of what he might say to her, they had been dating for months because of the contract but it wasn’t until a week ago that they admitted that they both like each other, and now? She was confident he was going to tell her that it was all a trick, he didn’t like her. It was how it was supposed to be after all he was the big shot actor and she was the ordinary medical student.

‘I know we only just established our reality. We aren’t playing games, we love each other and I don’t want that to fade, I want to spend the rest of my life with you.’ He smiled cheekily, his brown eyes were shining in anticipation as he dropped down on one knee, ‘Baek Sunhi will you marry me?’ He pulled out a stark black ring box and opened it to reveal a beautiful large diamond ring. Sunhi could feel fall agape as she breathed out in shock. The ring was absolutely stunning, the band itself was lined with multiple diamonds and the main one was the size of a coin. Sancheong always went all out, it was why she fell for him he was never warm he was either hot or cold, he always knew what he wanted.

‘I,’ she pressed her fingers to as laughter started shaking her body. ‘I-yes! Yes! I will!’ He smiled and pulled the ring out of the box. Sancheong dropped the box onto the ground as he quickly stood and took her left hand into his own.

‘Remember,’ he slid the ring onto her finger before he lowered his head, his warm minty breath tickled her nose as he spoke. ’Now you’re mine, don’t go looking at any other guys.’

‘Never, I will never see any other guy than you,’ Sunhi wrapped her arms around his shoulders and pressed her lips onto his. She could feel her chest bubble with excitement as their lips melded perfectly, moving in sync as they kissed. This was her life, the ordinary girl that fell for the famous guy by chance, just like the dramas that her fiancé acted in.
