Hibiscus Academy

Yi Fan hunched his shoulders up as he walked around the school. He pushed his thick-rimmed glasses back up to the bridge of his nose. His black leather loafer's heel resonated within the long corridors of the school. He stopped walking when he noticed someone standing at the end of the burgundy hallway with white marble tile. He took a deep breath as he watched the handsome young man stand still as he spoke on the phone. He continued walking towards them, since they were near the staircase. Unlike most students, Yi Fan has been granted special permission to patrol the grounds to catch any stray students or trespassers.

The young man noticed Yi Fan and a wicked smirk bloomed upon his lips. Everyone knew who Yi Fan was. He was the awkward president of the anime club, and the strange one of the Wu family. The Wu family was known for their stunning good lucks, and model-like bodies. Yi Fan possessed these traits, but instead of making them stand out, he wore sweater vests, dress pants, ties, blazers, hideous glasses, and a weird hairstyle. He dresses in a very sophisticated manner, and is confused as a staff member than a student.

"Well, if it isn't the patrol dog of the school," the young man smirked as he pulled Yi Fan towards him. The Chinese student was startled by the rough treatment. Yifan slouched as he hit the wall, groaning from the pain. The young man smirks, "Why don't you stop trying to be tough? We all know you're the pathetic kid of the Wu family. The kid who has no future planned, and he's about to graduate soon too. Pathetic."

The young man leaves the trembling mess in his place. There goes four years of confidence down the drain. He lets out a heavy sigh as he pushed his glass to the bridge of his nose. He fixed his sweater vest before continuing to moniter the grand landscape of the school. The nerdy looking student held his clipboard closely as he strolled tensely through the hallways.

Upon leaving Black Rose Building, he instantly runs over to the Harlequin Building with a small smile forming on his face. He pushes the doors open and ran up the spiral cases made of steel. The echos of his heels against the steel stairs bounce of the walls of the quiet building. When reaching the second floor, the boy takes a quick rest from the running. He looks at the flight of stairs, and is determined to reach the fourth floor of the building. He grins as he holds onto the rail as he runs.

With his determination, Yifan manages to reach the fourth floor. He grins and makes a break for the last room on the hallway. He is so happy as he reaches his haven; the place where he feels the happiest at, the Anime Club. He grips the knob of the door and instantly opens it, and he believes he sees a bright light as he fixates on the heaven placed on Earth. He falls to his knees in a dramatic way before hearing a chuckle.

"You're very weird, Fan." A handsome young man, with dark brown hair brushed to side, smiled. He wore old styled glasses that were being kept together with ductape. He looked up from the manga, Beelzebub, he was reading and watched his senior get up awkwardly. The young man wore the appropriate uniform, which was a navy blue uniform with the school's flower crest on the pocket, white dress shirt, black and red striped tie, and black pants with required loafers.

"Oh...you saw that didn't you?" Yifan blushed as he closed the door. He bit his soft pink bottom lip as he stared down at the ground. The young man laughed, "But you're cute when you do that, senpai."

"Don't use that on me, Kikwang!" The senior stomped his foot like a child. Kikwang laughed harder as he watched his senior's cute antics. Kikwang soon remembered something, "Yifan! Did you hear?!"

"What?" Yifan asked as he made his way to the shelf full of his favorite manga, Gintama. Kikwang answered, "Kuroko no Basuke is complete, as in no more volumes will be appearing."

"You little- How dare you tell me that!?"

Kikwang takes shelter behind his chair as he sees an upset Yifan. He still couldn't help but laught at how cute his senior is. Yifan sighs as he stares at his collection of KnB. He has every single volume, the character bible, the Replace novels, and more. He was an avid fan of the anime, and can instantly name every single character, even the minor ones that appear for one match. He pouted, "How can you tell me that, Kikwang?"

"Aww~ senpai is so cute when he pouts," Kikwang chuckles.

Yifan stomps his foot again, almost dropping his glasses in the process, "I'm not! But don't avoid the question!"

Yifan, after getting his energy refilled as he read his manga, bumped into someone about his height. Being weaker than what you expect, he tumbled and fell over. Some people snickered as they walked past him. No one ever tried to help the senior in anything. Yifan sighed as he pushed his glasses up and collected his items. He soon sees a hand pick his manga up and hands it over. He looks up and is welcomed by a beautiful sight. A boy with bright blue and blonde hair with a grin on his face holds out the manga for him.

"Sorry, didn't see you there," Yifan knew who he was. He was the prodigy of the boxing club, Choi Junhong or Zelo. He was slightly envious of his strength, but then again, he could do the same if he got his lazy off the computer and stop reading manga. But known to everyone, that would never happen in a million years. Junhong snickers as he watches his senior stare at him in awe. He bends down and whispers in his ear, "You better stop staring at me, or I'll break you."

A cold chill ran down Yifan's back as he grabbed his manga. He watched Junhong walk away and sighed. He wondered why younger students were so rude and awful to him. He got his stuff and ran to his next class. He struggled to place his items in his Eureka Seven messenger bag as he ran to the other side of the campus. The sounds of bells followed the nerdy looking boy as he ran. Why? He had many Winnie the Pooh bells attached to his bag, making him just a bit cuter than what he already was.

Upon arriving to his class, the school bell resonates within the school. Yifan lets out a sigh of relief as he made his way to his seat. He loved his seat at the front of his math class, because the iest man (based on his opinion) kept his eyes on him. Yifan immediately fixed his hair, and made his bangs cover his eyebrows, giving him a more innocent or angelic look.

He blushed as soon as his math teacher, Seunghyun Choi, stepped into the room. He felt someone kick the back of his seat, and looked over. He saw his sister, Jia, smile at him with a disgustingly innocent smile on her face. He sure felt the devil was in front of him as his hairs stood up on the back of his neck. Yifan was aware his sister was probably going to make him look like a fool in front of Mr. Choi. Yi Fan decided not to try anything with his sister seated behind him...again. He sighed but a smile returned to his face when his teacher looked at him.

The rest of the classtime was Yi Fan stuttering his words in front of the handsome devil. Seunghyun smiled as he watched his student stumble over his words. He found Yi Fan adorable when he gets frustrated by the "unexplainable" force that stopped him from speaking. Jia rolled her eyes, wondering why she had such an awkward brother. She turned her attention back to her assignment, and tried to ignore her embarrassing brother.

"Oh god, Yi Fan...just be quiet," Jia mumbled as she wrote down the formulas.
