Summary: A story of love, friendship and dreams in a circus. 

Character Introduction

Kim Joonmyeon

He just inherited EXO circus from his father but he pretends that he is employed as a supervisor. He is a kind-hearted and responsible boss who hopes that he can eventually help the circus members carve lives beyond the white cloth of the circus tent. For now, he is pressured by his father to earn as much money out of the circus as possible. At first, he did not notice Jongdae much but then grew to like and love him.

Kim Minseok

He is the oldest member of the circus and specialises in contortion. His stage name is Xiumin. Like most before and after him, he was put into the Seoul Academy of Circus Acts (SACA) since young and trained for many years before he was recruited into EXO circus. He is quiet, caring and shares a special relationship with Luhan that borders on love.

Lu Han

He graduated from the Beijing Academy of Circus Stunts (BACS) and unlike most, he was not recruited but rather, he auditioned for EXO circus. He is the resident clown, who does the act of juggling. He greatly enjoys life as a circus performer and the company of Minseok. He is very loyal to everyone around him and really likes soccer.

Zhang Yixing

He graduated from BACS as well and was scouted even before graduation. He is considered the best flying trapeze artist in the world. He has been very close to Luhan since their school days and in his free time, he likes to play the piano and compose songs. He is a little spacey and very absent-minded. He knows that Baekhyun likes him but is feeling rather conflicted about his own feelings towards Baekhyun. His stage name is Lay.

Byun Baekhyun

He graduated from SACA and performs magic tricks, sometimes with the help of two mischievous monkeys named after his best friends, Chanyeol and Jongdae. He fell in love with Yixing at first sight and has been very vocal about his feelings. He is very talkative and noisy but is exceptionally sharp when it comes to observing people.

Kim Jongdae

He also graduated from SACA and does the trampoline. He likes to sing and has a great voice. He really likes Joonmyeon and would do anything to get his attention, often getting teased by the others for acting like a teenage girl with a crush. He is very kind and helpful normally but enjoys playing tricks on the others. His stage name is Chen.

Park Chanyeol

He graduated from SACA and does fire performances. He, like Baekhyun, is very talkative and loud. He is always smiling and seems high on drugs but everyone knows that he has not truly recovered from an incident a year ago which affected him greatly. His hobbies change faster than the seasons do.

Do Kyungsoo

He is Joonmyeon's secretary and the devil to Joonmyun’s angel. He is strict, unyielding and scary though he has a very adorable face and figure. Every circus member knows that he is, in reality, the one who runs the show and keeps everything in order. Jongin has a not-so-secret crush on him and while Kyungsoo denies any attraction, everyone knows that he has a soft spot for him. He harbours a big secret that only Joonmyeon knows about.

Huang Zitao

Zitao graduated from BACS, specialising in the Wheel of Death, throwing daggers at a spinning wheel with a person pinned onto it, and other stunts involving weapons. He is quite timid but at the same time, very protective of and manly towards Sehun. His stage name is Tao.

Kim Jongin

Jongin graduated from SACA and is the newest addition to EXO circus, together with Sehun. He is extremely talented at aerial silk performances. He is usually very sleepy despite sleeping from more than 10 hours every single day. He really likes Kyungsoo and never denies it though he can be rather shy about it. His stage name is Kai.

Oh Sehun

Sehun also graduated from SACA and is the newest addition to EXO circus, together with Jongin. He does tightrope walking in the circus. He is very close to Jongin, being of the same age and the same department back in SACA. He is dating Tao and enjoys being protected by and doted on by all his hyungs.
