Description

Seulgi had a weakness for searching for contours within the refracted shape lights gave things, and a known eye for cool, sea blues and dark, rippling cyan. She adored acrylic. She adored how a slack of it could be layered and shovelled upon anything that for artistic attention. She was lusting for its ability to mask up faults.

Seungwan, the girl in Seulgi’s last two periods who sat across the horseshoe arranged table-top, preferred to work with the grimier materials - charcoal, graphite; they illuminated a quiet satisfaction within her. She didn’t feel much like painting over everything, pretending that her life resembled any vibrancy but the purring, warm colour of amber, and the tangerine hue that led her back home.

Foreword

“I can almost itch at it within my fingers – a gentle buzz just on its wit's end before rising in full fledge to the surface. It’s like a passion that I always, always want to portray.”

Sooyoung was ever-confused, balancing a petite eyebrow up her temple, humming softly through the café’s default hubbub; “I really don’t understand what you’re saying, Seungwan. What do you mean?”

There was a pause. A rattle of oak under slender fingertips. “I think I’m trying to say that I’ve found my muse.” The older girl boldly traced a shape along her upper lip, as she knew herself that she could only work from realism.

I'm back to writing for these two again! ;u; After finishing Smiling Eyes, wow, it's so hard to stop lol.

Ahhh, I really, really hope that you enjoy this fic as I write it; I personally find it a bit shabby, a bit messy, but it's a little arty universe that I've always wanted to get out. ;;;;;; School's really hectic so it'll be hard to update frequently but I'll definitely try my best! Thank you~~ <3

EDIT: Hey! Before you read this, I'd just like to give you a little heads up that it's very flowery and a bit difficult to follow at times. This is before I really, really tried to simplify and alter my writing style so it was at least readable lol, so I've improved since this. Anyway, I hope this is somewhat enjoyable?? Maybe?? Though I never fully adapted the storyline or completed it. ;^;
