i'm tired

'and baby so am i, but we have to keep running'

can't we rest?

and I smile and say, 'anything for you,'

and then we rest in somewhere dark.

out of reach of those who 

look

for 

us. 

and then the torch light

burns

and our ragged clothes

ripped

and then we're dragged away.

oh baby, if only we didn't

stay.
