Lee Jong Suk- Handsome and rich man who has a tragic past.  His father was a doctor who died of a fire in a makeshift hospital at war.  Because of lies that his father ran away, Jong Suk's mother committed suicide.  His brother is believed to be dead.  Because of all the tragedy, he feels rather alone.    He falls for Ji Yeon but doesn't know it...

Ji Yeon- also cold towards strangers; she is one of the top students in school; hates her father because he is always too busy; lost mother at early age of five; likes Kai but then Lee Jong Suk comes...

Kai- rich; cute (one of the popular guys in school); he first meets ji yeon when studying in the book store and falls for her; they become close friends and start dating;  He used to be a playboy but changed his lifestyle because of Ji Yeon...

Krystal- nerdy; one of Ji Yeon's secret friends at school; she gets bullied alot but if she did a little makeover, she would look gorgeous; secretly has a small crush on Kai but is considerate of JiYeon and Kai's relationship so she acts as a relationship advisor for both of them;  Her cursh grows bigger over time

(decided to put her on the main cast because it makes sense, sorry if you don't like it!! Some of my friends reading this wanted her to be part of main cast so yeah)

Minor Cast

Chanyeol (of EXO)- minor rival of both Kai and Lee Jong Suk (if you know what I mean); has a crush on Ji Yeon when Kai first introduced her to the group.  

Seo In Guk- Lee Jong Suk's hyung and best friend

Exo- all the members basically (mostly Chanyeol though)
