Love wasn't fair. But then again, love was never fair to begin with anyways. But he was never supposed to fall this hard - for a human, at least. It didn't work that way; there were too many complications; it was not something that should have happened. 

And yet he couldn't help himself.

Sungyeol would have never predicted falling in love with a human, but at the same time, he would never regret it. Living as a rumored legend under the reckless waves, he had grown up being taught that humans were evil, humans would hurt him, and humans would capture and kill as soon as they had the chance.

But Myungsoo was none of those things. He was never any of those things. And Sungyeol couldn't have hated him even if he tried to. Even if it had hurt in ways he would never be able to forget, he could never stay away.

( A/N ) : what is this?! is this a /sequel/?! am i actually writing a sequel?!

sequel to Tourmaline. You don't have to read it, but it is recommended.

lol, believe it or not, i don't usually like writing sequels, since i usually tie all loose ends. how.e.ver -- with tourmaline, that is definitely not the case. there was a lot of ambiguity on yeol's side of the story, which i believe is crucial to the overall work as a whole. i guess it's not much of a sequel -- it's more like yeol's POV on the events that happened. PLUS, I will not be stopping at the same place as tourmaline -- i will be continuing it ( like an epilogue i guess ) and you will see what happens of myungsoo and sungyeol. because they're trying to find a way to be together at all times.

anyways, i'm not too sure when the actual fic will be posted, cause it will probably take a long time to write ( /again omfg ) and it might even end up longer than tourmaline since i will continue the ending. i'm also trying to update another fic, but that will probably get put on hold again cause i am actually really excited for this mermaid stuff. ^^
