It's the year 2020, the year when the new South Korean law,called the Survival Act,goes into affect.The Survival Act is a law in which several high school students are forced to take part in something the government and school officials consider a game. In this "game" several high school students from all over South Korea are randomly chosen and put into teams. They are all put on an island and given two bags with random weapons. There are several traps set up that if they run into them,they will be killed. Along with that there are unknown subjects who are watching them,ready to kill and there are also several wild animals such as bears,deer,raccoons,and poisonous snakes that could also end up killing them. They must either kill or be killed.This law was created due to several teengaers and high school students thinking that they are better than the government and committing several crimes and getting away with it. They only have 72 hours and the last group or person still alive at the end of the 72 hours wins. If there isn't a winner at the end of the 72 hours then the last ones standing must  fight to the death or be killed.The point of this law is to prove to teenagers that they don't run this country,but it is also to see what a a large group of teenagers would do if they were stranded on an island,in a forest,with minimal food and water,and several weapons. This law only goes into affect once a year,every year,and it will continue to go on for the next several years or until the government has decided that South Korean youth have learned their lesson and that this doesn't need to be a law anymore.
