Description

Jung MoonYoung and Jung SunYoung, the two goddesses that were fated to live apart. The two daughters were born from the  son of the first sun god, Jung Yungsun. Yungsun had ruled the world, the upper world, by guiding poor souls and helping them redeem themselves. Slowly each soul had served a purposed and so forth, a council was created; The Council of Life.

There were two sub-groups of this council, the night and the day gods. The night gods and goddesses took care of those that lurked in the night and the day gods and goddesses took care of those that dwelled in the light of day. It was forbidden to meet a god or goddess of the opposite sub-group outside of council meetings due to the golden rule; One is not to involve oneself with an opposite power. Meaning? A moon based god cannot fall in love with a sun based god. The two could not mix. The great man who began it all, Jung Yungsun, was a sun god who had helped many to find their true identities and helped them to form new ones if needed. He was a man of rules. Not one person dared to disobey his laws on life... but one man; his son.

Jung Kwang-Sun was the first born god of the sun gods. His parents, both from the sun god, were strict and molded him to be a righteous and honourable man. He followed all the rules he was told and lived by his father's words... that was until he'd found himself lost in the night. He'd gone stir-crazy, sitting only in the light, he needed to see the dark side of things. He snuck out in the middle of the night and gathered all the info he could about the night atmosphere. Looking at the subtle changes from when the sun was up and when the sun had gone was indescribable. He did his best to stay hidden from the other gods, in fear that he'd be reported and banished, or worse, he hid in the shadows and ran from anyone in sight... that just about did it. He was utterly lost.

With nothing but the full moon's faded shine to guide him, Kwang-sun passed into the Moonlit forest where he took rest. There, sitting on a high rock, was the most beautiful woman he'd ever laid his eyes one; Jung MoonYoung and Jung SunYoung's mother; Kim MiYoung. She had grey eyes that showed no fear, beautiful silver waist length hair, and pale skin that brought out her plump pink lips. She glare at the direction he was standing in, due to the noise he'd made unknowingly as he unconsciously inched forward.

This was the start and the end. A legend was created and the golden law was broken at last; They'd fallen in love. Kwang-Sun's father was not happy with this matter. He'd gone berserk when he heard they'd conceived a child. Jung MoonYoung, they'd named her. The golden rule was a rule that protected everyone... from what you ask? The unknown

No one knew of what became of those born from two separate based gods. From what they'd learned, every element was either light or dark. For instance, fire gods were based off of sun gods. Death gods were sub-categorized under the moon gods. The idea of mixing the two powers was unheard of and anyone who'd broken this golden rule was sent to exile.

Knowing very well on what would happen to them, the two opposite powers ran away together after their first child was born. They fled the upper world with their baby in their arms. Running past both sun and moon gods, nothing stopping them from achieving happiness and peace for their family. But it wasnt in their cards at the time... Kwang-Sun's father snatched their first born and before they could get MoonYoung back, they'd already fled into a new world, a world unknown to the gods, a world where those with no powers lived; The human world or mundanes.

The two fleeing gods were terrified of what Moonyoung's grandfather would do to her but Kwang-Sun believed in one person who would fight for her well-being; his mother. She'd believed that everyone had a chance and did her best to counter his father's strict and harsh opinions at times. He believed in her with all his heart. With Kwang-Sun's wife, Miyoung still not at ease, they'd had another child, this one named, Jung SunYoung. The first child, MoonYoung was named after MiYoung because of her grey/light grey faltering eyes and midnight coloured hair. SunYoung was named after Kwang-Sun due to her golden brown coloured locks and golden brown eyes that shone just as bright as the sun itself. Soon, after they'd had their second child, collectors had come to do just that: Collect

With the help of the other council members, they had found out a way to teleport from the upper world, the world the human's called "Heaven", and the human world where the Jung family was hiding. Yung-Sun had come down himself just to find his son and did as he planned. No one got special treatment, his son had broken a rule and therefore, his son would get the punishment; Exile. It was tough and it was heartbreaking, but every god watched as Yung-Sun took hold of his son's wife's neck and used his light power to collect her soul. Her grey eyes slowly closed and they faded to a pure white colour. Next, Yung-Sun watched as his son toppled over in tears as he held his wife's lifeless body in his arms.

Kwang-Sun's father had no mercy but the sadness could be seen and felt. Everyone watched once more as another life was to be taken. He wrapped his large hands on Kwang-Sun's chest and closed his eyes, doing his best not to let his tears roll down his face, he felt his son's soul leave his body and felt it move through his finger tips. The feeling of a soul was very much like the feeling of a warm trickle, but unlike ever before, taking his son's soul felt as if boiling water was being poured out from his body and down his arms. After the exile had be completed, he'd released the two souls into the great lake of redemption where the gods believed the souls would help power their world and stay forever.

The two Sun god leaders were devastated and did not know what to do with the two children left behind. As a punishment, seeing as how killing a 3 year old and a 2 month old child was inhumane, even for a god who'd just killed his own son, they'd decided on a less extreme punishment; The two children were never to see each other. To grow up with no family but the guidance of their grandmother and grandfather. They were stationed in two separate places. Moonyoung had been bound to the forest of Moonlight, where her parents had first met, a place that controlled the moon and also a place that could only be seen and visited on the night of a full moon. SunYoung was bound to her father's birth place, the land of stars. She was sent to the human world along with the home that her father was born in. She had the duty of watching and protecting those that lived under the sun and fought against those that did evil.

Foreword

"My dear, when the full moon rises, come see me
Before the night is over, before the sun comes uphurry

My dear, when the full moon rises, give me your love
Before the night is over, before the sun comes up, come see me

Even the sky is blessing us
Don’t rush, don’t leave anything out

Just think about us, the night is long
I’ll hold your hand as we’re walking on the moon

The tightly shut door is open, the dream I’ve had for a long time"
