four days after eunbi, rise has left us

to be honest, i had a feeling she wouldnt make it

and i'm not sad, but rather relieved

relieved because rise no longer has to endure suffering, because she won't live a life where she is completely dependent on other people, where she can't do anything on her own, where she can't do what she loves.

i may sound like a heartless person, but think about it.

why are we sad?

none of us know rise personally

comments like "RISE YOU HAVE TO LIVE!!!"
"WHY DID YOU LEAVE US EUNBI???"
"YOU CANT DIE!!!"

its so selfish

you're only sad because they aren't there to provide their services to you

when i told my friend i had a feeling that rise would die she said: "i hope you're so ing wrong"

but why?

why would you wish that upon a person?

why would you want them to continue to live a life with no purpose, void of any meaning?

how horrible would rise feel, knowing that she wasnt able to take care of eunbi, knowing that while the one she treasured so much had left, she was alive and unable to do anything about it?

this doesn't mean that i don't feel anything

but we're human

we're selfish

I am sad that they're gone

but we need to accept it

these things are part of life

instead of lamenting the fact that they didn't stay

celebrate the fact that they were here
