A Little Bit of Rain

Description

Jongdae and Yixing began a casual relationship two years ago. Both being transplants to California from South Korea and China respectively, they found ual comfort within each other in this otherwise intimidating new country. We follow the two's relationship from the very beginning, and watch as they lead separate lives that only intersect every few nights. However, when their dynamic changes into a romantic, they realized how much they didn't know about each other and question whether being a couple is something that they want to continue. 

Foreword

So I was originally going to make this a series of drabble-ish one-shots, but I ended up writing a lot of ChenLay. So I scrapped that idea and went with the route of making this a ChenLay series. Sorry 'bout it lol.

The story itself is very parodical. I wanted to write a caricature of a young man looking for the thought of love, that embodies everything that being Asian, homoual, and driven entails. I chose Jongdae because out of all of EXO, he is the one that I relate to the most and he is the easiest to write because it is basically cutting experiences from my love life and pasting his image onto it.
