THE HISTORY OF THE ACADEMY:

In the 1800s, a group of scientist opened up a facility for studying diseases and mutations. The facility was an unofficial research center. Later on, when the research was suitable, the government started funding them. The Official Academy wasn’t built until the 1940s. Since the government was funding the research center during WWII, they were ordered to perform experiments for the military. These experiments stayed underground since they were deemed inhuman. The government hoped that these experiments could help them win the war. All scientists worked there to genetically manipulate soldiers’ DNA and turn them into super soldiers. After many trials and errors, they finally succeeded.

That was when the government turned the research center into an academy. This was to hide their true agenda, from the public and thus The Academy was created in 1941. All the soldiers were able to move around freely to heal so they could be placed under intense training afterwards.

After the war, all super soldiers were released. Some couldn’t handle it, so they went into hiding while others went on to live normal lives. When those soldiers had kids, their genetically engineered genes was passed onto their offspring. These genes gave form to mutations which resulted in the children's’ superior abilities. Since there were children running around with these mutations, the government decided to keep The Academy open, giving these kids a place to harness, control, and strengthen their ability.

To this day, The Academy is still running. Training these kids, in preparation for any future world wars.

As a child, you were always different from the other kids. There was always that feeling, that nagging feeling, that there was something wrong with you. Something building inside you that was growing as you grew. Your parents had tried to explain to you about what’s happening, but you still didn’t understand.

When you were of age, you were recruited into a special academy. There, they would teach you how to harness, control, and strength your power.
