They stayed at the coffee shop all day talking her boss chuckled as they closed the shop, “they must really like you.” He teased counting the money they had made, “I’m happy you finally brought in customers who spend money all day,” he joked.

                “Doesn’t Jean have a job?” she asked whipping off the end of the counter, “I really don’t want to go out there again, but they have the last of the dishes on their table.” She pouted making her way out the doors to the table. They were talking to each other so calmly laughing as if they were friends from way back, “Okay guys I hate to interrupt your conversation but we’re closing up now.” Kiko grabbed the coffee cups and plates.

                “Ahh,” Jean looked down at his watch, “I can’t believe I spent all day here.” He laughed, “Mon amour,” he took Kiko’s hand kissing the top of her knuckles lightly, “I will still fight for your heart. Although I do have stiff competition no?” He smiled shaking hands with Kyuhyun, “I’ll see you at the same time tomorrow. Oh and Kiko let him teach you French he’s a naturel.” His voice hummed as he paid for the last cup of coffee he had before taking off down the road with a pep in his step.

                Kiko rolled her eyes taking the dishes inside, “I think Jean’s officially lost his mind.” Kiko handed the last payment to her boss, “Keep the change monseiur,” She sighed taking the cups and plates to kitchen cleaning them quickly before hanging her apron and grabbing her bag. “Alright,” she came back out to the front I’ll see you in the morning.” She smiled at her boss before realizing Kyuhyun had followed her in.

                “Why didn’t you tell me you had a boyfriend? He’s handsome no? Why hide him?”

                “Easy,” Kiko glared at Kyuhyun, “he’s not my boyfriend that’s why.” She sighed.

                “Lover, boyfriend is the same no?”

                “Yes”

                “No.” Kiko huffed, “It’s not you’re not my boyfriend lover or anything. He just wants to have a free place to stay for a little bit.”

                “And you offered I knew you were good girl ma luciole.” He kissed Kiko’s head, “Good things will happen to you. You’ll see.” He squeezed her shoulders, “Now go so I can lock everything up okay?” he smiled pushing the two of them to the front door. “Kiko tomorrow you take the day off eh? Get to know your friend okay.” He wiggled his eye brows shutting the door locking it before she could respond.

                “Is this some ongoing joke?” she asked under her breath, “Come on, we’ll pick up some food before going back to my studio apartment.” Kyuhyun walked beside Kiko not saying a word, “Are you always this quiet?” Kiko asked as they went into a small market, both of them grabbing a small basket.

                “No, I’m just,” he picked up some fruit putting it into the basket he picked up, “letting you talk so I can get to know more about you.” He smiled, “It’s not hard since you like to talk.” He picked up a loaf of bread, “here,” he held it close to Kiko’s ear, “you hear that? The small crackling sounds, it’s perfect.” Kyuhyun stuck it in his bag.

                “I know how to pick out bread,” she mumbled watching Kyuhyun walk around grabbing all kinds of things stuffing them in his basket, “What  do mean I like to talk?” she caught up to him as they walked down an isle together.

                “You’re always talking,” he grabbed bandages off of the shelf.

                “Are you hurt?”

                “Hmm?” he shook his head, “No however I do get hurt at work sometimes better to be prepared right.” He smiled taking off to the next isle.

                Kiko stayed behind grabbing toiletries, “I hope he has soap and things he can use.” She mutter grabbing a bar of soap before rounding the corner into the next isle, “ah,” she stopped, “cat food.” She grabbed a package of ten.

                “You spoil your pet.” Kyuhyun snuck up on Kiko making her jump, “Sorry I didn’t think I’d startle you so easily.” He put a handful of things into her basket.

                “What exactly do you do? At your job?” she asked as she examined what he put in her basket, “why are you getting so much?”

                “They’re necessities,” Kyuhyun pulled her to meat section filling basket with different types of meat, “alright we’re set,” he took the basket from Kiko and went to check out.

                “He avoided my question.” Kiko mumbled to herself following behind him to the front of the store. Kiko walked through an empty line to the other side of the lane waiting on Kyuhyun. ‘It’s annoying; he managed to weasel his way into my apartment. I guess I shouldn’t complain though he is buying everything, and paying for the rent. That’ll let me get ahead at least a little bit. He better not try anything funny.’ The cashier started flirting with Kyuhyun as she rang up his items, ‘Great he’s a ladies’ man no wonder he’s in Paris.’ She rolled her eyes watching it go on.

                Kyuhyun glanced over at Kiko smiling while he paid the flirty cashier, “Thank you.” He grabbed the six bags, three in each hand; he walked over to Kiko, “Let’s go now.” Kiko lead the way out of the store and too her apartment building, “You have a nice neighborhood.” Kyuhyun tried to start conversation as they rode the elevat
