Main Characters:

Gem Yu - 19-year-old Orlando-born Taiwanese-Korean senior high school student of West Orlando High School who's an honor student, but she even likes to dress up like a boy, and the McDonough brothers are her homies since childhood, esp Riley is her closest one among the three.

Riley McDonough - 18-year-old senior high school student of the same school Gem's attending, but placed in another section. He's also as smart as Gem, but he's more smart on Math than her. He's one of Gem's closest friends since childhood, but he later started to develop his strong feeling for her, but he's being rejected directly.

Connor McDonough - 20-year-old Riley's older brother, and a college student. He is more passionate in music among three although the other two have also the passion, and he's also the one who knew Gem the most. He secretly loved her, but he decided to set his feelings aside for his brother's happiness.

Toby McDonough - 16-year-old junior high school student of West Orlando High School, and Gem's friend and 'younger bro' (when in fact he's the youngest among the McDonoughs bros). He likes to play with his big bro Connor's guitars, and also likes to joke anything.

Krystal Jung - (Korean Name: Jung Soo-Jung) 19-year-old Korean-American member of a KPOP group f(x), and Gem and Riley's childhood classmate-friend. They didnt see each other for 3 years until she decided to have a vacation in LA first, and then went to Orlando to visit them.
