My father said that we are destined with someone.

 

They will be the one we care for, we cheer for.

They will be someone that we spend our lifetime with.

They will be the one we need, the one we protect.

And also, they will be someone we love.

 

My father said that his destined pair is my mother.

She's beautiful, smart, and sweet.

He said that I have everything she has.

Her eyes, her lips, her nose.

But he didn't spend his lifetime with my mother.

Because she left him.

 

My father said, my mother left not because she hates him. Or hates me.

It's because he couldn't protect her.

No matter how hard he tried.

She's gone.

 

My father said that we usually meet our destined person in a suitable age.

My blue eyed grandma said that I will meet them when I'm seventeen.

I knew that when I'm only thirteen. Two years later, my blue eyed grandma passed away.

 

My father said, they can be anyone.

My friend, my enemy, my cousin, or even someone I don't know.

I kept that until I reached my seventeenth birthday.

 

My father said that he loves me so much.

He hugged me and closes his eyes in peace when I was sixteen.

My green eyed uncle said that my father and mother had been together again forever.

He said that even though death separate those destined people, they'll meet again someday.

 

And finally, I met him.

My destined pair.

 

After seventeen years waiting, it's hard to believe since he's a HE. That means he's a boy. Just like me.

All my family got their opposite genders. But not me.

He's not my destiny.I said to myself.

But as the time goes, he makes me sure that he's the one.

 

My red eyed aunty said it wasn't a problem as long as I love him.

Because we're destined to be like that. To protect them. To share life with them. Or even sacrify our life for them.

I nodded. Even though I don't really understand.

What's your name?He asked. Name? I don't know my name, but my father always call me,

Kyuhyun.

My name's Donghae.He smiled and took my hand for a shake.

.... He's older than me. 2 years older.

Shall I accompany you?He asked again. The smile never leave his sweet face.

Sure.I answered without blinking my eyes to keep my sight on his beautiful face.

 

This is the first time in my life, I had someone so special.

I wanted to protect him, to cheer him, to share my life with him which means that I wanted to spend my whole lifetime with him.

I wanted to love him.

He's my destined pair.

I believe that. Now.

 

Donghae-ssi.I stood up in front of him.

Yes, Kyu?He turned. He called me 'Kyu'. Am I that close to him?

Can I ask you something?

Sure, what it is?He smiled. That precious smile.

Do you have someone you like?What the hell am I saying.

Now?He asked innocently.

....I nodded.

Erm.. Yes.He scatched his head while showing his blushing face.

 

I feel something cold running on my cheeks and my sight blurred.

His face's not clear.

Kyu?He called.

I blinked. Gaining back my concious.

Kyu, what's wrong?There's nothing wrong.

It's nothing.I said.

 

My father said that it hurts when we know that our destined person isn't ready.

They need time. Because even ourselves might not be ready for it.

 

Donghae-ssi, can I love you?I asked. My eyes were red. I know he likes someone else, but I just can't take it.

Kyu, can I love you as well?

My eyes widened.

I love you.He said. With that precious smile stays still.

I love you too.And I kissed his lips.

And when the cat finally meets their witch or witches, he got a place to stay. Got a safe place.

Because the semi-cat only needs their master. And they had to find them.

It's a fullmoon when a cat finally reached his unknown master that he's been searching for years. For seventeen years of his life.
