Jonghyun isn't desparate. He might seem that way to some people but that's not true. The reason for his at times odd and annoying behaviour is simple.

Jonghyun is lonely.

He can't even remember the last time he was involved with someone romantically. And this reality hurt.

Jonghyun wants to be loved and to know that somebody - at least one person - needs him.

But this is just a wish and as Jonghyun strolls into a club he is hoping that his wish will finally come true

They don't ever work - and Jonghyun knows it. Yet he continues shamelessly using them.

"Am I dead, angel? Because this must be heaven" - Even Jonghyun himself almost throws up from the lame pick up line.

The girl looks at the blonde strangely before flicking him off and turning away to resume the conversation with her friend.

Jonghyun looks down and makes his way to the exit only to find that it is raining outside. He quickly puts his hood on and walks out knowing all to well that the thin piece of fabric won't protect him from anything.

And as he walks through the empty streets of Seoul, he wonders when did he become this desperate. He tells himself to stop it because it's not like any of the pick up lines will ever work. 

Jonghyun's just making a fool out of himself.

"This is the last time" - Jonghyun mutters under his breath determined to stop his daily routine of going to a club and trying to pick up a girl.

But he knows that when he gets back to his lonely apartment, the first thing he will do is search the net for more pick up lines.

Because Jonghyun is just that lonely.
