Problematic Neighbors and Late-Night Disturbances
Description
Huang Zitao loves his lonely late-night walks under the moonlight. Thus, he doesn't exactly appreciate his silver-haired -and incredibly annoying- neighbor's habit of joining him. (After all, there’s a reason why he includes the word "lonely" in there.)
Foreword
Huang Zitao has always led an ordinary, almost boring, life. He attends school every morning as he is expected to, works part time in a coffee shop when his classes end to pay for the rent, returns to his apartment to study in the evening, and goes out for his long walks late at night.
There’s no particular reason why he absolutely wants to go out at night all alone. It’s not like he doesn’t have any friends. Minseok, his hyung who works as a barista in the coffee shop with him has always offered to hang out with him after work; he isn’t exactly sure why he refuses every time. (Alright, maybe it has something to do with the creepy chinese guy that keeps following him around. Luhan, the little devil Minseok has as a roommate.)
There is also this guy from university, Yixing, a sunbae whom he respects a lot and one of the few people he has the chance to converse with in his maternal language, Chinese. To be honest though, he finds Yixing a bit peculiar. Is it the way he always seems to be in his own world? Maybe the fact that he always forgets the most simple stuff, or the way he is always so kind that it becomes awkward? He doesn’t know, but because of his weird traits, Zitao never met up with him outside of school.
Alright, maybe he doesn’t have any close friends. However, he likes to believe that he doesn’t mind being alone, and, honestly he doesn’t feel lonely at all. He strongly believes that even if he had any friends, he would still need those private moments alone.
There’s something, a certain feeling he gets whenever he finds himself walking the streets of Seoul all alone… It’s more than a single habit. It’s become essential. A way to clear his head, a way to feel free, independent. There’s no simple way of explaining it.
And there was no need of explaining it.
Until Oh Sehun entered his life.
