Description

When you're young, there are things that you can't seem to understand- like how you're able to learn, love, and grow. Growing up, you couldn't help but to think about these things, and develope a longing for something. But, your parents always told you that it's not up for you to decide how fast you're going to grow or pick up on the newest subject in math class, and they surely never failed to omit that you can't choose who you love either. They said that they'd support you no matter what because everything happens for a reason, but how would they react when they discover that the one person who you love unconditionally is no one else, but your very own step-brother?

It started with a promise.

Oh Sehun has always been reliable.

As other neighborhood children played soccer in the streets, he chose to sit back and watch. Not because he couldn't play or get along with the other kids, but because of her, Baek Lila. He was her bodyguard when jealousy struck girls would show up at their front door, and a shoulder to cry on when they managed to hit a nerve.

As testosterone teenagers danced along to the newest radio hits in a gymnasium full of cheap decorations, he would stay at home watching one of Lila's favorite dramas with her. They'd eat microwavable popcorn and talk about what happened earlier in the day, ignoring the fact that he could be with his friends and an incredible prom date that he'd snaged once the date was announced. He became her sturdy walls, the only person she could feel comfortable with.

One that stated that they'd put eachother before anyone else.

Oh Lila was as fragile as glass.

Everything about her was different and that made it easier for the other girls her age to destroy her confidence. She'd end up in Sehun's arms day by day- it had become a normality for the two. She didn't mean for him to miss out on so much of his life, but he was there when she needed him the most. He cared. And, that's all that mattered to her.

But, things have changed.

Oh Sehun is apart of the globally acclaimed group, EXO and Baek Lila doesn't need anyone's protection.

Two years is a long time to be apart, but as they say, absense can make one long for more.

Rating: "M" for content, and suggestive themes.

Warning: This story contains contains a lot of angst because that's my prefered genre of writing, as well as a few suggestive themes and a little innuendo. So, read at your own risk.

This short description and story's plot belongs to me, as well as some of the characters. I obviously don't own any of the memebers since this is merely a fanfiction, but the oc's are mine. Any character's or similarities within the context are purely coincidental, and I apoligize if anything offends you. I'll also try to update at a decent rate, so keep an eye out for more chapters.
