Forever

Description

"So, could you elaborate on your book "The End of Forever" for us?" the interviewer asked.

"Of course." I told her, "Anything specific?"

"How did this plotline come to be? What inspired you?" she asked. My stomach dropped, but I kept on a smile when I answered.

"Well, it was actually based off of my high school life." I began, "I, uh, was basically the outcast of the kids. Heck, I was the outcast of the outcasts. I did get into many fights. And I remember that there was one boy that always stood up for me. He turned out to be the only friend I had throughout high school. We were together almost always. Best friends, that's what we were. One day, I asked him, 'How long will we last?' He told me forever." I paused, my heart ached, "It didn't take long for forever to end. We moved to different countries and we fought over calls. Tears were shed, hearts were broken...that story had no happy ending." The interviewer sat silent.

"I am very sorry to hear that. So, when you're main character, Luna, heads towards the close of the story, during that time when she was healing, and becoming strong, was that based off you getting over that time of loss?"

"Yes." I lied. Truth was, I never got over it. I put up a strong façade to hide how badly it broke me.

"How did it feel when you were able to overcome that feeling of lonliness?"

"Great! I felt free. Even if I never really forgot his name," I told her, forcing a realistic looking smile. She smiled as well.

"What was his name?" She asked with a look of fascination. I gulped silently.

"His name?" I paused and every possible negative outcome that could result form saying his name on television ran through my mind. There were hundreds. But, I never had been one to listen to my conscience.

"His name was Kris."

This is a test. I've been wondering if I should post this or not for a while. If I get enough comments/subscribers I will. If you think this is worthy of being read, comment or subscribe and I'll post it. Thank you!
