A/N: I found a cool tumblr that has  some really nice prompts on it. I would post these on Tumblr tp send to them, but I don't use my old Tumblr anymore and I don't feel like making a new one. Anyway, Credit to: OTP Prompts for some of these story ideas.

[3rd Person POV] 

"Wh-i-y, oh why does this have to happen to me-ie?" Jaejoon asked himself as he heard his voice crack. Every time he says certain words, his voice gets higher. He can't stand it and refuses to talk to anyone because of it. Jaejoon couldn't bear the thought of someone hearing him and making fun of him because he can't control his voice. However, that was all gonna have to change when the guy that Jaejoon has a crush on, who happens to be one of his good friends, came up to him during the lunch period. 

"Hey, you okay?" Minwoo asked, but Jaejoon only looked away and nodded his head. "Don't lie to me Jaejoon. You're trying to avoid something, what is it?" He sat down next to Jaejoon and stared him down. Jaejoon couldn't take it, so he got up and went to go dispose of his tray. "Yah! Jaejoon?"  

Jaejoon just kept walking, not saying a word to the latter, afraid of what he might say about his voice. As he kept walking, he bumped into Hyunil, who happily pointed out that Minwoo was following him. Jaejoon rounded the corner quickly and rushed into a bathroom. He hid in a stall and kept quiet, not like he wanted to talk anyway. A minute later, the bathroom door opens, making Jaejoon yank his legs up so they wouldn't be seen from under the stalls. The foot steps echoed in the bathroom; Jaejoon could see a shadow of someone's legs on the ground in front of the stalls. It got closer, stopped and then began to leave. He heard the door open once again and then shut, indicating that maybe the person left. After waiting a couple of seconds or so, Jaejoon opened the stall door slowly. As soon as he thought he didn't see anyone, he looked towards the door and saw Minwoo waiting against the space next to the door. Jaejoon slammed the door so hard, the stall rattled. 

"Jaejoon? Come on. What's wrong? Are you mad at me or something?" As Minwoo spoke, he walked up to the stall Jaejoon was in. Jaejoon knew that he couldn't escape without telling Minwoo why he was hiding from him. He knew he had to face the music and take the criticism like a man. He opened the stall door and looked at Minwoo. He could tell by his expression that the latter was genuinely worried about him.  

"No." Jaejoon said plainly, proud that he could get at least one word out correctly today. 

"Then what's the problem? Hyunil told me that you're hardly speaking anyone" Jaejoon bit his lip, trying to figure out how to tell Minwoo what's going on without his voice embarrassing him. 

"No-uh-thing..." Jeejoon slapped his hand over his mouth, so much for his plan. Minwoo arched his eyebrows, catching onto why Jaejoon might be freaking out. 

"Jaejoon... Is your voice changing?" He shook his head, resulting in Minwoo giving him a stern look. He nodded and looked down. "There's nothing to be embarrassed about. When my voice changed, it was real bad, but I still talked to people. It gave them a good laugh so I didn't mind it so much." Minwoo placed his hand under Jaejoon's chin and lifted it up. A blush crept up on his face as he stared at Minwoo's eyes. "Now please, speak to me." 

"Oka-ay." Minwoo couldn't help it, but he released a chuckle that he didn't mean to. "Sto-ah-p" Minwoo kept laughing and pulled Jaejoon in for a hug. 

"It's cute, don't be ashamed." He tightened his hug on the younger, who felt happy that Minwoo didn't pick on him for his sudden voice change.
