An Luhan is completely caught off guard when his father rebels against the Tang Dynasty. The idyllic life that has been laid out for him is suddenly interrupted, and he finds himself into a battle he knows nothing about.

An Lusha is not even slightly surprised when her father declares war. Her only concern is keeping her twin brother safe, whether he wants her to or not, and it doesn't matter how many corpses she must step over to do so.

Qi Lanling is unconcerned over the war, or anything not immediately affecting her for that matter. That is, until the movement of resources begins to interrupt her career, and she must look elsewhere for the love of her life: money.

Secrets are uncovered, adventures are had, lovers are born...and these three must embark on their own journeys of self-discovery as their entire world-views are challenged.

An illustrated tale set in fictional historical China. It will cover An Lushan's rebellion against the Tang dynasty in the 8th century.

Various other exo members will appear/make cameos.

This story will differ slightly from the classic OC pairing fanfic as it will not focus too heavily on the main character.

In fact, you could say that there will be several protagonists.

A lot of this story will be experimental for me, from the illustrations to the writing style, and I hope to have you along for the ride.
