"Today's the day, Chanyeol." A tall young man said to himself as he straightened out his tie on his suit.

Today was a special day. It was the day where he'll propose to his 5 year girlfriend.

"Okay... Cologne ?" He smelled his suit. "Check"

"Hair?" He fixed his hair once more "check?"

"Teeth?" Smiling at the mirrow, he happily said "check"

"Suit and tie...check. Now... Ring?" He said softly as he checked his pockets.

"Huh?" He said confusedly as he pat his pockets. Back pockets, it wasn't there. Front pockets, not there either. Jacket? Not there either !

Panicking, he looked up and down, left and right, patting to find the ring box. "Where is it!"

Looking around once more, a small black box was seen on the corner of his eyes.

"There it is.." He sighed in relief and picked up the small box. Opening it, shined a small ring.

"Ring?" He whispered as he smiled at the ring infront of him. "Check."

Closing the box, he then placed it in his pocket. Patting it repeatedly to make sure it was there. He then smiled at himself in the mirror and walked out.

"Happy birthday, idiot." Minji heard her cousin say as she got ready for her date.

 

"Thank you, darth-vader" she chuckled while applying lipstick.

"Hey. Don't be calling me that. I already have enough of that from Yoda." Yumi rolled her eyes as she leaned on the doorway frame.

Smiling at her cousin, Minji stood up and walked to her full-mirror.

"Pretty~" Yumi exclaimed as Minji straighted out her red dress.

"You like?" Minji questioned as she glanced at Yumi in the mirror. "Chanyeol got it for me. He told me to wear it for tonight."

"Actually I picked it out for stupid yoda as a present for you." Yumi muttered lowly as she rolled her eyes.

"What was that?" Minji turned at faced Yumi as the doorbell rang.

"Nothing !" Yumi smiled awkwardly, "that must be yoda... I'll go open it up for him."

As soon as Yumi was gone, Minji smiled and went back to checking out the dress.

"Yo, yoda!" Yumi yelled as she opened the door for Chanyeol.

"Yo, darth vader.!" Chanyeol smiles as he greeted her and walked inside the house.

"So are you nervous?" Yumi whispered as she teasingly nudged him.

"Really."

"Don't be" she pat his shoulder as he sent her warm smile. "By the way, you have the ring right?"

"Yeap, right here" he pat his pocket as Yumi gave him thumbs up. Smiling, he also gave her thumbs up.

"What are you guys doing?" Minji called as she walked out to the living room. "And why are you guys giving eachother thumbs up?"

Splitting from one another, Yumi smiled at the girl while Chanyeol was dazed by her beauty.

"We're going to play thumb wars" Yumi lied as Minji chuckled.

"I don't know if I can trust you guys together anymore. Always doing weird things together"

"Well, it's him who suggested it." Yumi smiled as she looked over to Chanyeol. "Close your mouth would you? You're drooling everywhere"

Getting out of his daze, he glared down at Yumi and then turned his attentions to his lovely girlfriend in front of him.

"You look, beautiful.." He smiled as Minji walked closer to him.

"You look handsome, yourself" Minji smiled.

As they stared at one another, love in their eyes, Yumi could only scowl.

When were they going to leave? She also had plans with her boyfriend. The plan was to cuddle and watch movies all day here, afterall Minji would be gone with Chanyeol, but.. These couple didn't budge from their spots. What were they doing?

"So... Are you guys going to leave yet?" Yumi asked as the couple looked over to her.

"Oh.. Yeah. Sorry" Minji said as Chanyeol took her hand.

"Well, we're going..." Chanyeol said as he walke towards the door.

"Stay out tonight !" Yumi yelled as they walked down the first two steps of the stairs.

"Why?" Minji questioned as Chanyeol smirked.

"Spending the night with your boyfriend, Darth Vader?" Chanyeol smirked as Yumi smirked back.

"In fact I am, now leave Yoda."

Shaking their heads, Minji and Chanyeol walked down the stairs and out of the apartment building.

Once they reached the car, Chanyeol dash to the passenger side and opened the door for Minji.

"Thanks" Minji smiled as she elegantly entered the car, and as soon as she was in Chanyeol closed the door and rushed to his side.

"Where are we going?" Minji asked Chanyeol drove out of the parking lot.

"To Galarista.."

"Galarista? Are the boys going to be?" Minji lift a brow as Chanyeol smiled.

"Though it's your special night, the boys wanted to atleast help." Chanyeol smiled while he thought, 'of course they have to be there... They're helping me propose to you'

"Wait here" Chanyeol told Minji as Minji squinted her eyes in confusion.

"I have to make sure everything is all prepared."

Laughing, Minji took off her seat belt. "Chanyeol ... Is it really a big deal? We did this at least for five years already"

"Yeah, but today's special" Chanyeol pouted as Minji smiled softly.

"fine... But if you're not back in five minutes then I'm coming in" Minji told him as he gave her a peck on the cheek and got out of the car, Unnoticing that the ring box had fallen out of his pocket and into his seat.

"I'll be back!" Chanyeol yelled from outside and gave her an okay sign before running in.

Smiling at his running figure, minji eye soon caught the little box on the seat besides her.

"Hm?" She turned her head, furrowing her brow in confusion as she picked up the tiny box. "What's this?"

Opening it, she gasped and her eyes widen. There inside was a ring. Pulling it out, she put it on her ring finger.

"So by special... He meant that.. He was going to propose?" Minji gasped once again as she began to freak.

"Wait. Wait... Stay calm, Minji." She calmed herself as she stared at the ring.

After thinking for a while, she then thought of an idea. "Maybe I should play a prank on him?"

smiling evilly, she then put the ring back in the box and dropped it into her small purse.

"How's everything?" Chanyeol asked as soon as he walked in, but was surprised.

The cafe was covered in decorations. The cafe's light was dimm, making the stars on the floor, wall, and ceiling glow.on the entrance there was a red carpet filled with roses leading to a lone table that had a red table cover and a small candle.

There was a sign on top, saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY

"How do you like it?" Ji-ae asked as she shook behind chanyeol, making him flinch.

"Oh Ji-ae... What are you doing here?" Chanyeol questioned as she smiled and passed him.

"What else? I came to help with decorations since the boys didn't do anything" Ji-ae rolled her eyes.

"Where is everyone?" Chanyeol looked around, noticing that none of the 11 boys were there. He practically begged them for help and they're not even here?

"They're in the back, getting ready." Ji-ae as she walked back towards him. "I'll go get th-"
Stopping midway, Baekhyun and Chen made their way out wearing a waiters outfit.

"Nevermind..." Ji-ae muttered as she checked out her fiancée, as he walked over to her.

"Hey beautiful" Baekhyun said he stood by her side, he still had ways of making her heart pound.

"How do I look?" Chen asked as Ji-ae gave him thumbs up.

"How do you like the decorations, Chanyeol?" Baekhyun asked as he wrapped an arm over Ji-ae's waist.

"Looks nice." Chanyeol smiled as the boys came out one by one; Lay, Tao along with Sehun, Kris, who walked in cooly, Xiumin with Luhan clinging to him, Suho who decided to walk together with Kai and Kyungsoo, though they hated it.

"Now that everyone's here, get into places!" Ji-ae commanded as all 11 boys got into position, standing by the red carpet.

"Wow, you're like a dictator now babe.." Baekhyun said as he stared at the two lines the boys formed.

"Well aren't you getting into line too?" Ji-ae said as Baekhyun smiled sheepishly and quickly stood by Kyungsoo, who hit his head.

"Okay.. Everything is in place, decorations, food, boys" Ji-ae muttered as she looked around for anything out of place. "Alright.. You can go get her now, Chanyeol"

Smiling at her words, Chanyeol walked out of the cafe while Ji-ae made stood besides Xiumin, across from Baekhyun.

"Hey~ why are you standing by him?" Baekhyun pouted as the boys laughed and shook their heads. He was being jealous again.

After dropping the ring box in her purse, she then noticed that Chanyeol had walked out of the cafe.

As Chanyeol ran towards the car, Minji smiled and waved. 'He has no idea what's going on...' She thought happily.

Opening the door for her, Chanyeol calmed himself down.

"Is everything alright in there?" Minji asked as Chanyeol smiled and closed the door.

"Yeap." He said while taking her hand and walking to the cafe.

"happy birthday!" Ji-ae and the other 11 boys yelled as soon as Minji and Chanyeol walked through the door.

"Happy birthday, Minji." Ji-ae said from the side. " I hope you had the best birthday"

"Well.. Let's hope this is your best birthday you ever had" Baekhyun said as the boys smiled.

"Luhan?" Ji-ae said as Luhan gave her a nod. Walking forward he then bowed, "follow me this way" he said as he took them to the table.

"Wow..." Minji said breathlessly as she looked at the decorations "Ji-ae certainly did a good job"

"Hey! Why do you think Ji-ae noona was the only one who did the work?" Tao pouted as Ji-ae hit him lightly.

"Because I did do the work, now it's your turn to do the work" Ji-ae said as Tao pouted once again and walked towards the table.

Pulling out the chair for Minji, he then said "here you go, Minji noona.."

"Thank you" Minji smiled as she sat in the chair. Pulling out the chair for Chanyeol as well, Tao rolled his eyes and left afterwards.

"Wine ?" Baekhyun asked as he stood in front of the table with two glass cups and a bottle of red wine.

"Yes please." Chanyeol said as Minji stared at the bottle.

"Red wine.. My favorite." She smiled happily as Baekhyun poured the wine into their glass cups.

Taking his leave, Xiumin then walked to the table. "Here you go... These are the dishes we'll be preparing" he handed them a menu, Ji-ae and the maknaes prepared.

"No laughing at my handwriting!" Tao yelled from the side as Minji could only chuckle at this cute menu.

Some of the words were fancy and some of them were sloppy. Of course the fancy ones were written by Ji-ae while the sloppy ones were from the two maknaes, Tao and Sehun.

"My handwriting is at least better than Tao.." Sehun muttered as he stared at the couple.

Once they were finished reading the menu, Ji-ae then nudged Kris. "Go get the food" she whispered as he sighed inwardly and went to the kitchen.

"Ah. Ah." Chen said as he walked to the self-made stage and spoke into the mike. "Ah.. Testing? Oh okay.. Hi. I'm Chen. I'll be singing you a lovely tune for tonight. With the help with lay on the piano and guitar"

"Hi... I'm lay." Lay introduced as he walked up to the stage. "I hope you two like this song" he bowed politely before making way to the piano seat with his guitar.

"The song is I choose to love you. I hope you enjoy” Chen said as he looked over to Lay and gave him a nod to start playing.

As Minji and Chanyeol enjoyed the music, Kris and Kyungsoo made their way to the table.

“Here you go... the main course.” Kris said as he and Kyungsoo sat the plate of food on the table.

“Finally you’re doing something, Kris.” Suho said as he passed by.

“Hey... I’m only doing this because Ji-ae said so.” Kris said as he fixed the table while Kyungsoo snorted at his remarks.

“No, it’s just that you’re scared of Ji-ae” Kyungsoo said as Chanyeol laughed.

“Ji-ae has been scary nowadays”

“I’m not scary.” Ji-ae popped up from behind Kyungsoo. “I’m just keeping you boys in shape.” She pat kyungsoo’s shoulder before giving the couple a smile.

“Keep us in shape alright.” Kris said as he walked away to prepare the next course.

“That guy...” Ji-ae shook her head.

“Is that a ring on your finger?” Minji asked as she noticed a diamond heart ring on Ji-ae’s hand.

“Oh this?” Ji-ae smiled “Yeah... Baekhyun proposed last two weeks ago.”

Hearing the words proposing, Chanyeol couldn’t help but get the chills again, he was once again nervous, and Minji couldn’t help but smile and glance at her tall partner. He was in for a surprise.

“Oh wow. How?” Minji questioned as Baekhyun walked up to the table.

“Easy.” He smiled. “I just simply asked her to marry me. To spend the rest of our lives together”

“Aww how cute.” Minji cooed a Ji-ae pouted.

“Cute alright, but he didn’t even make cute preparations at all.”

“What’d he do?.” Minji was now curious, Baekhyun probably did something like this right?

“Like I said... I simply just told her that.” Baekhyun said as he poured them some more wine.

“Yeah...Said it while cuddling. Even his first confession was way better than his proposal.” Ji-ae said as Baekhyun looked at her.

“So you wanted something like that?”

“Well at least something like that!” Ji-ae pouted once more as Baekhyun hugged her from behind.

“Fine... I’ll propose again.”

“Yeah?” Ji-ae looked at him as he pecked her on the lips.

“Yeah.”

“Eww Baekhyun hyung! Ji-ae noona” Tao screamed from afar. “Get a room!”
Laughing, Baekhyun let go of Ji-ae and yelled to his dongsaeng. “Might as well!”

Hearing Baekhyun’s statement, the maknaes made a disgusted face as the older ones laughed.

“Come on, let’s go and leave these two alone...” Ji-ae said as she dragged Baekhyun away.

“So we really are getting a room?” Baekhyun teased as Ji-ae hit him lightly on the head while blushing madly.

“For dessert... my favorite.” Ji-ae said as she and Kai set down the strawberry cheese cake in front of the two .

“Wow... it looks so yummy.” Minji said as Ji-ae nod her head.

“It really is. Kris perfected it! It taste just like the one in JUMP’s cake shop.” Ji-ae said as Chanyeol stared at her with wide eyes.

“Kris hyung made this?” Chanyeol eyed the cake as Kris came up from his chair.

“Doubting my baking skills?” He lifted a brow as Minji smiled and took a bite of the cheesecake.

Squealing, she then smiled happily and took another bite. “It’s delicious!”

“What’d I say? I’m the best baker here.” Kris smiled proudly.

“Well.... Kyungsoo did most of the work.” Kai said only to be glared at Kris.

“Well... hope you guys enjoy, Kai and I have to bring these dishes to the dishwashers.” Ji-ae smiled.

“The dishwashers? We have dishwashers?” Chanyeol looked at the confusedly as the three of them shared a look.

“It’s punishment. We played a game earlier before setting up the decoration” Ji-ae smiled as she walked away with the dirty dishes.

“Chen, Suho, and Tao lost.” Kai smiled as Minji furrowed her brows.

“Chen? Isn’t he singing up the-” stopping in  mid-sentence, she noticed that it was Kyungsoo singing up there now. “Oh...”

“Yeah...” Kris and Kai said as they smiled and walked away.

As they ate their desserts peacefully, Chanyeol couldn’t help, but feel nervous throughout. Heck, he was nervous through the beginning of picking her up and onward.

“Finished?” He asked as he watched her take a sip of her wine.

“Yeah...” She smiled as he took a breath.

“Minji... I have to tell you something.” He started off as he got up. Looking at him curiously, Minji started her act, but she couldn’t help but feel her heart beat hard against her chest.

“Uh?” She said softly as Chanyeol moved out of the chair and to her side. Holding her hand, he helped her get up.

“Choi Minji... Minji...” He called out her name as she gulped. “The past five years have been amazing. Getting to call out your name everyday. Getting to see you almost everyday. Getting to go on dates. Getting to cuddle at home. It’s been such a great five years. I’m absolutely blessed to have you by my side. You’ve been there for me since day one. Never ever did I expect for you to walk into my life and make such a huge impact. You brought the better of me. I always to try to better myself for you and us. I know I’m a pain in the sometimes, and can stress you out. So thank you for putting up with me for five freaking whole years.”

Already to this point, Minji was crying.

“I love you very much” Chanyeol said as he wiped off the tears off of her cheeks. “I can’t wait to see where life takes us and its scary to think far ahead, but wherever we end up I’m not afraid to face it as long as you’re by my side.... But I don’t want to stay like this anymore”

“What?” Minji said as she looked at him. what does that mean? after that heartfelt speech as well...

“I don’t want us to be just girlfriend and boyfriend, but... I want us to spend our whole lives as Husband and wife....” He said softly as he squeezed her hand.  “So Choi Minji, will you-” He goes down on one knee and looks for the ring box in his jacket...

........ it’s not there.

“will I what?”

“Uhh.....” Chanyeol said as he began to panic mentally. “Will you... Will you..... uhh...”

Smiling at his form, Minji leaned forward and kissed him on the lips. “Yes, I’ll marry you Park Chanyeol...”

Hearing that, Chanyeol stood up happily and embraced her, repeating these words “I love you soo much! Thankyou... I love you”

"yay!!” Ji-ae and others popped out “Congrats!!!” they walked to the couple.

“Where’s the ring?! I want to see!” Ji-ae squealed as Chanyeol began to have another panic attack. Seeing Chanyeol’s face and Minji’s hand ringless, Ji-ae glared at the poor boy.

“You didn’t get her a ring?!” she yelled as the boy started to make a commotion about it.

“I... I had it in my pocket today... but.. but... I don’t know what happened to it!” Chanyeol yelled helplessly as everyone began to scold him, meanwhile, Minji had a secret smile on her face.

Backing up from the crowd, she then went to her purse and took out the small black box she had found today.

Tucking away, she yelled out her boyfriend’s name. “Yah, Park Chanyeol.” Soon the ruckus was quieted down and everyone’s attention was on her.

“What?” he asked as Minji made her way towards him

“I too.. have something to tell you.” She said while smirking. “Will you....” pulling the box out, she opened it. “marry me?”

Eyes and mouths wide open, everyone stared at Minji.

“The... T-The ring..” Chanyeol stuttered as he looked back and forth to Minji and the ring. “h-how?”

“You dropped it in the car when we arrived.” She smiled.

“Then that means you knew from the start?” Baekhyun questioned as she her smile widen.

“Yeah....” Looking at her tall now fiancee, she smiled and asked again. “So Park chanyeol. Will you marry me?”

Chuckling, he pulled her closer. Plucking the ring from the box, he then put it on her ring finger. “does this mean anything?”

Laughing, she pulled him into a kiss while everyone around cheered once again.

“Thanks guys...” Chanyeol said as him and Minji stood in the entrance of the cafe.

“No problem.” Suho said as the boys gave him a look. “What?”

“Shouldn’t I be saying you’re welcome?” Ji-ae said as the boys agreed.

“Hey... I fund all of these things and you still want to take my credits.” Suho said as everyone ignored him. “oh you guys are hopeless”

“thanks, suho oppa.” Minji laughed as Suho smiled.

“See this is why I like Minji the best.” He pointed as Ji-ae pouted.

“Oppaa~” Ji-ae cried as Baekhyun hit her lightly on the head. “Ow.”

“No doing aegyo to other men.” He said sternly as he pulled her closer to him.

“Okay fine.” She said as the rest of the group laughed.

“Well thanks again.” Chanyeol said as he took Minji’s hand in his and walked out the cafe.

 

“Okay... since they’re gone. Everybody go to position and clean up!” Ji-ae yelled as the boys groaned. “Go Go Go!”

 

“Fine...” The boys sighed and did as told. All of them except one.

 

“So.... did you like Chanyeol’s proposal?” Baekhyun asked as Ji-ae smiled smiled softly.

 

“It was sweet.” Ji-ae intwined their hands together.

 

"So... do you want something like this for my proposal redo?" He questioned as Ji-ae smiled and shook her head. "What? but didn't you-"

 

"I did.." she cut him off. "But... the way you proposed was Byun Baekhyun's way. I wouldn't ask for anything better. Even if you proposed once again, the first proposal would be my favorite. because that's just how my Mr. Byun does it."

 

Touched by her word, Baekhyun pecked her one the lips. "Can I ask you a question?"

 

"No need to ask, just do it." She smiled as she caressed his cheek.

 

"Can you Match make me with you, again?" 

 

Laughing at his question, she then peck him on the lips. "If thats your way of proposing again, then... Yes, I will. after all, You're my perfect match "
