Description

How sad is it to spend ten months away from that warmth you used to struggle against, but want so much right now? How hard is it to expect it to come back then lose it forever in the blink of an eye? Kim Seokjin, the perfect prince any girl would wish for, had lost his self because of that. The pain that his regrets gave him were unbearable, his happiness stopped existing.

To Jin, being rich wasn't about money. It was much more human than that. It was much more precious than that. Being rich was receiving the attention certain people had to pay to you, and being able to lean on them. To Jin, being rich was getting the warmth that made him comfortable and feel like himself. That warmth, he lost it.

She had it.

Because of all of the limits his parents had set for him, Jin never had any free time to do what he wanted and actually have fun as most kids of his age. As soon as his parents were gone, he went out almost every night and tasted every bit of the freedom he had been craving for for so long. But soon enough, his life became a routine. What kind of happiness was that?

Minbyul never had time to go out with her friends. She ran home right away after school and watched some TV or surfed a bit online before washing up and having her dinner earlier than everyone at home then study until she falls asleep. That was her daily routine. Her mother even got scared at times, her father was too busy to care.

Hi dear readers! This is the fourth version of this fanfic! Only the layout has been changed, the story is still as it is. I had to change it because it seemed difficult to read it on your mobile device/tablet. This is my first time writing angst. I picked Jin as main character because I know he hasn't got the spotlight very often when it comes to fan fictions; and I also thought he suited best to the theme of this story. I would be glad if nobody was to steal my plot idea because I worked hard to get to this result. Please contact me if you have found somebody copying! This was originally a contest entry but I could not complete it into the deadline. English is not my first language and I haven't found a beta reader yet to correct my grammar I apologize c: I recommend you to play your ballad/sad songs playlist when reading!
