"Her hearts failing!" The nurse screamed over the noise of the machines in the operating room. It hadn't even been a day since the removal of her kidney, yet here she was, her body was already crying.
The doctor pushed everyone out of the way, two magentic like things were in his hand. "Clear!" He set it on her chest and her entire body flung up for a moment, but rested back on to the bed. The heartbeat was visible on the screen and everyone simply sighed. "That's it. Send her to a room, we don't know how long it will be before she wakes up."
In the hospital room lay a man...presumably her boyfriend. All he did, in his hospital gown, was smile. "Thanks for the kidney." He murmurred to himself. His plans were to leave, and never return to her side...because his real love wasn't her but someone else. The fact was...he only used her to get the kidney...so he could survive...he didn't care about her.
