Jongin watched Ina as she drank from her water bottle. “I want to become an all around performer someday.”

“Me, too!” Ina squealed after she placed her water bottle aside. “Ever since I transferred here, I’ve wanted to become a famous performer like Ms. Kim. Maybe we could hold our own concert, too!”

Jongin’s smile widened by the second. “Yeah, and we could invite all of our families and friends!”

“Don’t forget Ms. Kim and our teachers, Jongin!” Ina pitched in. Their grins matched and they laughed at their crazy ideas. “Do you think we could be as good as Ms. Kim someday?”

“Of course, we will, Ina!” Jongin held two thumbs up. “If we work hard together from now on until we grow older, then we might become even better dancers than Ms. Kim!”

Ina giggled and playfully slapped Jongin’s arm. “Don’t say it out loud, Jongin! Ms. Kim will hear you and she’ll get offended.”

It was silent for a while in which the two kids smiled, happy at how their dreams were the same. Ina nudged Jongin’s arm, “Why don’t we try to audition for Ms. Kim’s extra classes? That way, if we are qualified, we could train other types of dances together other than ballet.”

Jongin thought about it for a while and nodded. “It’s a deal!”

"Let's work hard together and perform together on stage when we grow up, okay, Jongin?" Ina raised her pinkie finger to him and Kai locked their fingers together in a promise. "Let's train together and learn all forms of dance styles so that we could give the crowd very unforgettable performances."

"Together, Ina." Kai smiled at her. "That's a promise."

claring95 here, posting a new fanfic plot with Jongin as the lead character together with my OC, Jung Ina.

I've decided to place this as an official entry of mine for New Year, New Story - A Writing Contest! *crossing my fingers here*

004. It's hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember. <---- This is the prompt I used for the Writing Contest :)

This will be angsty and fluffy at the same time and I'm hoping that my writing improves through this and also in my other on-going projects. I want to put myself and my readers through a ride of emotions, love and friendship and this fic is the perfect one for them all!

I got inspired by the show So You Think You Can Dance and my favorite was the Season 5 winner, Jeanine. I love how they interpret their emotions through each movement especially through Contemporary Dances although the dances I'll use here are not always inspired from Jeanine's. I am also NOT a dancer, but I'm a huge fan of dancing. I poured out my love for dance through this fic and I hope you'll like this one. You don't have to be a dancer to love the art of dancing. :)

And we've finally come up with a decision! This story will have multiple chapters for us to get a full view of the story structure. Of course, we'll start with how they met :) I would like to thank all those who have helped me and I apologize to the ones who suggested a long oneshot. I felt like the characters would be more developed through multiple chapters without being too fast and dragging on the pacing.

I apologize in advance for the grammar mistakes and tense lapses. Also, since I'm not a dancer and I never had any dance classes, I might describe some dance moves which have actual names to them so I aplogize if I didn't mention what it's called. English isn't my first language but I think I'm pretty decent with my English :)

This story will have more or less 5 chapters with a prologue and an epilogue. It will be composed of flashbacks as well.
